  1. 2010 The Ironstone Pressings GSM, d'Arenberg

On the nose we are struck by the typical dark fruits. Plums, mulberries, fresh soil and more developed peaty like notes are all apparent, with an underlying lick of exotic Indian spice.
An abundance of fresh fruits on the palate marry well with the more complex characters of quince paste, cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise and earthy beetroot. Driving the core of the wine is that vintage trademark in the form of graphite and wet stone. This wine, while appearing open and generous already, will continue to age well thanks to the lively line of acidity and the abundance of fine gritty tannins.

  2. 2013 Dolcetto Lagrein, Heartland

Deep, glass-coating ruby in colour. Blackberries and wild herbs with smoked meats and spice on the nose. In the mouth, earthy flavours and fresh acidity from the Lagrein mingle with sweet, red cherry and spice of the Dolcetto.

  3. 2011 Vintage Edition Secco, Bertani

Dark ruby red wine with a nose of cocoa powder, cherry and dry aromatic herbs; balances structure with good soft tannins and acidity, pleasantly fresh with a lingering dry finish.

  4. 2013 Rosso IGT Irpinia Tauri

    2013 Rosso IGT Irpinia Tauri

    (6x75cl)

    Intense ruby colour.
Red fruit aromas carrying through the palate with green pepper and spicy black pepper on the finish.

  5. 2012 Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, J. Lohr

Dark ruby-red in colour with aromas of cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry and violets. The bouquet is an elegant blend of vanilla, chocolate, truffles, cedar and thyme. Showing ripe and velvety soft tannins with a plump structure supported by good acidity that balances the ripe fruit and helps create an elegant and lengthy palate.

  6. 2008 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Fattoria dei Barbi

Brick red in colour with earthy brown edges. The nose is pronounced and complex, offering an entertaining array of red and black berry fruits, spices and oaky aromas. The palate is medium to full bodied with a richly complex middle and an everlasting, elegant finish. The tannic structure that dominated the wine in its youth is beginning to mellow and allow mature, secondary characteristics to show. A stunning wine with enormous appeal.

  7. 2014 Timperosse Mandrarossa

    2014 Timperosse Mandrarossa

    (6x75cl)

Dark ruby red, very intense with notes of cherry, plums and red apple on the nose. Medium structure, pleasantly tannic, with a lingering fruity finish.

  8. 2012 Crozes Hermitage Cuvée Albéric Bouvet, Domaine Gilles Robin

Vibrant aromas of plum with great texture and balance between front-mid-end palate. Fresh but rich with great sustain of flavour on the finish.

  9. 2011 Crianza, Pago de los Capellanes

The nose is intense with a pleasant balance of wood and fruit which notes of vanilla, ripened cherries and plums. Secondary aromas of leather and liquorice are also present. The texture in the mouth is smooth with balanced flavours echoing the nose. The tannins are fine and the finish is long and elegant. This wine will keep for some time.

  10. 2011 Barolo, Cannubi, E. Pira

The intense and brilliant colour perfectly expresses the polyphenols of a very successful Nebbiolo. On the nose it develops gradually its richness; the initially fruity and spicy aromas envelop notes of sour cherry and raspberry, while hints of cocoa and vanilla make the bouquet even more intriguing
