In this cold, late-ripening vintage, the south exposition and richness typical of this site give the Mosconi a level of mid-palate pliancy and richness the other 2010 Barolos don't have. Mosconi has never given Barolos of finesse or elegance, but this is just about as good as it gets. 95 points", Antonio Galloni

The palate is structured and refreshingly generous with additional flavors of dried plums, cherry and cola. The well-knit tannins and pleasant mouthwatering acidity support a persistent finish laced with rich notes of cedar and vanilla.

    Ruby red, intense when young, tending to slight garnet. The bouquet is intense yet delicate. The palate is dry, full-bodied and typically bitterish. As it ages it will become more refined assuming a full and harmonious flavour. A very tasty cherry-and-beef flavor on a sweet mid-palate followed by a tart, moderately tannic finish.

    Traditional in it's generous texture, firm tannins and fleshy raspberry fruit.
