  1. 2012 Les Amandiers, Chateau du Vieux Parc

    Bright ruby body with a garnet rim and a spicy nose with wild cherries, cassis and ripe grapes. Juicy body with soft mooth and fruity palate with a slightly peppery finish.

  2. 2013 Fleurie La Bonne Dame, Jean Tête

    Bright brick red in the glass, with attractive ruby highlights. The nose is forward and fruit driven, overflowing with cranberry and raspberry fruits and a touch of green spiciness. The palate is medium bodied, soft and supple, with good acidity supporting vivid forest fruit flavours. The finish is elegant, dry and poised.

  3. 2010 Merlot Stellenbosch, Thelema

    Deep, brooding purple in colour with some brick red highlights. The nose has pretty red-fruit characters with some hints of spices such as cinnamon and liquorice. The palate is juicy, broad and ripe, packed with red and black berry fruits, a firm, well integrated oaky structure and a bold, well defined finish which makes it a great food wine.

  4. 2012 Plumbago Nero d'Avola, Planeta

    Abundance of red fruits like plum aromas, ripe blackberry typical of western Sicily Nero d’Avola blended with scents of cocoa, and almost Sacher cake. Soft tannins and roundness characterize the wine.

  5. 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonball

    Balance in the mouth is exceptional from start to finish - strawberry, blueberry, and red apple dipped in dark chocolate, all-spice and a layer of toasted oak. Tannins are structured but not overwhelming, with very well balanced acidity.

  6. 2011 The Navigator, Strandveld

    Aromas of cool-climate spice with white pepper and cloves. The spiciness carries through to the palate and is complemented by black berry flavours, with floral hints courtesy of the Viognier. The Grenache contributes dried-peach tannins. The wine has an ageing potential of 5 – 10 years.

    A deep ripe mulberry colour, displaying glints of youthful purple at the rim. Intensely floral aromas of pepper and spice play with rich red fruits. Palate is full bodied and complex with silky tannins and a generous length of flavour.

  8. 2011 Domaine Capmartin Madiran Vieilles Vignes

    The Vieilles Vignes is made from equal quantities of Cabernet and Tannat and aged in new oak barrels. A more approachable wine than the Cuvee du Couvent, and an excellent partner to roasted meats.

  9. 2011 First Sighting Shiraz, Strandveld

    Deep ruby with purple hues, the nose bursts with white pepper and spice with an all elegant red-berry scented fruit with mocha notes and soft, lingering tannins.

  10. 2011 First Sighting Pinot Noir, Strandveld

    Ruby red with a brick coloured rim and brimming with cherries, strawberries and foresty fruits on the nose. The palate is juicy fresh with sour cherries and firm tannin. Sprightly and elegant.
