  1. 2013 Karia Chardonnay, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is famous as the winery that beat Bordeaux’s best in 1976’s Judgement of Paris, a moment which transformed the image of Californian wine around the world. Fast forward nearly 40 years, and the winery is still producing finely honed Chardonnay like Karia, a wine which opens with aromas of peach, yellow apple, spice and a pleasing sweet cream vanilla note. The palate is alive with citrus and light honey notes that lead to a lingering, fresh, minerally finish.

  2. 2013 Graves Blanc, Chateau des Gravières

Dry, mid-weight, unoaked, with a complex palate showing oil, peach and lime juice.

  3. 2011 Villa Margon Trentino Superiore, Ferrari

Very complex and fragrant bouquet with scents of apples, grapefruit and citrus fruit. Elegant, rich on the palate.

  4. 2013 Chablis 1er Cru Les Lys, Defaix

This premier cru is characterized by its aromatic richness, and its fineness on the mouth. Fruity and rich.

  5. 2012 Rully 1er Cru Rabourcé, Domaine Jaeger-Defaix

A real success for this fine wine, with some pine, lemon and soft aromas showing through. The palate keeps on and on and evolves with a great depth.

  6. 2012 Les Terrasses Savagnin Arbois Pupillin, Domaine de la Renardière

Flinty minerality, walnuts and spice with lip-smacking freshness and savoury dry texture.

  7. 2013 Saint Véran, Domaine Paquet

A wine with a golden-green robe, rounded and fruity on the palate. Demonstrates excellent floral notes of acacia, with hints of vegetable, aniseed and liquorice.

  8. 2013 Finca Montico Rueda, Riscal

A bright straw colour with hints of green. The typical aromas of verdejo can be detected on the nose with medium intensity. Fennel, fine herbs, white flowers, pear and nectarine are all evident. The palate is fat and fresh with a round, unctuous character and long finish. Lees ageing and good acidity allow the wine to conserve the varietal aromas leaving a fresh, aromatic and complex wine.

  9. 2013 Tokaji Furmint Dry, Patricius

Fresh and light white with walnut, almond and mint aromas and flavours with hints of honey. Complex with a long finish.

  10. 2014 The Dry Dam Riesling, d'Arenberg

Jasmine and orange blossom, along with lemon and lime characters leap from the glass.
The sugar-acid balance from this fine vintage is unparalleled. While both are present, they manage to meld together creating a mouth-watering yet supple sherbet character, which finishes dry and mineral, not cloying in the slightest.
