  1. 2013 Sancerre, Le Petit Broux, Les Celliers de Ceres

Overt gooseberry style Sauvignon flavour mingled with hints of exotic tropical scents. Immediately appealing, crisp and clean with a good concentration of green fruit, crisp citrus flavours and a racy, mineral streak, finishing clean, refreshing and eminently drinkable.

  2. 2013 Saumur Blanc La Cabriole, Cave de Saumur

Aromas of honey and honeysuckle can be found on the nose, on the palate it is light, dry and crisp, with well balanced acidity and a long lingering finish of quince, melon and honeydew. Best drunk young.

  3. 2012 Mercurey Blanc, Domaine Michel Juillot

Piercingly fresh nose with lemongrass. Dry, mineral palate with balanced oak spice and a linear profile.

  4. 2013 Pinard Cuvée Classique Blanc, Domaine Vigné-Lourac

A light, crisp blend from Alain Gayrel made with fresh, vibrant grape varieties. This is an excellent aperitif wine, that will also match gracefully light dishes such as chicken salads. Excellent value for money, and a wine that very much over-delivers on its name (Pinard is the French name for 'plonk'!).

  5. 2012 Pouilly Fuissé, Domaine Saumaize-Michelin

Succulent, ripe nose of creamy vanilla and pineapples. Rounded and generous palate, offering ripe grapefruits and lemon rind. A judicious use of oak brings depth, texture and nutty characters and helps with the soft finish.

  6. 2012 Pouilly Fuissé Clos sur la Roche, Domaine Saumaize Michelin

Fragrant minerals, white fruit and floral aromas are abundant on the nose. It is powerfull and concentrated on the palate with plenty of peach, apple and ripe pear fruits coating its multi faceted mineral edge. The finish stays full and stony, with a citrus finish.

  7. 2009 Cuvée du Pere Lucien Vouvray Sec, Sylvain Gaudron

Honey and straw aromas with a dry complex palate, layers of texture, golden quince flavours, balanced acidity and a long finish.

  8. 1989 Vouvray Moelleux, Sylvain Gaudron

Age has conferred an incredible creaminess to this wine. Toffee on the palate, not too sweet, beautiful vein of acidity. Finish lasts for ten minutes.

  9. 2013 Blanc de Blancs, Vin de France, Le Rouleur

An attractive glossy, pale yellow with crispy, fresh citrus and floral aromas with lively herby apple flavours on the palate. Soft in texture with a persistant finish.

  10. 2013 Longue Roche Sauvignon Blanc, IGP Côtes de Gascogne

Vibrant and zesty, with the classic sauvignon nose of gooseberries and a hint of tropical fruit on the light bodied, crisp, unoaked palate.
