  1. 2013 Finca Montico Rueda, Riscal

A bright straw colour with hints of green. The typical aromas of verdejo can be detected on the nose with medium intensity. Fennel, fine herbs, white flowers, pear and nectarine are all evident. The palate is fat and fresh with a round, unctuous character and long finish. Lees ageing and good acidity allow the wine to conserve the varietal aromas leaving a fresh, aromatic and complex wine.

  2. 2013 Limousin Reserva, Marqués de Riscal

Light gold colour. Complex and elegant nose with hints of vanilla, honeysuckle and wild fennel. Dense, mouth filling palate, with hints of nuts as well as of toasted wood and an underlying reminiscence
    of fine lees.

  3. 2013 Sauvignon Rueda, Marqués de Riscal

Pale yellow in colour with hints of green. Very complex nose with abundant fruit (lime, grapefruit, passion fruit and melon), green grass and an underlying minerality that adds personality. Crisp palate, medium-bodied with a clean, long lingering finish.

  4. 2014 Poco Paco Airen Sauvignon Blanc, Jesus de Perdon

An elegant, vibrant white with a crisp, refreshing bite. Notes of citrus, green apple and pear on the nose are followed with a zingy, lemony palate.

  5. 2014 Rioja Blanco, Heredad de Tejada, Bodega Classica, Vintae

A straw yellow colour wine. Ripe fruit, dates and banana notes stand out on the nose in combination with the nuances of a crianza, making it an interesting and complex wine. On the palate it is fresh and fleshy, leaving a long, balanced and pleasant aftertaste.

2014 La Copa de Macabeo, Coviñas

    (12x75cl)

The nose is fresh and herbaceous with white fruit, green apple and a hint of grass. The palate is juicy and fresh with a delicate body a dash of minerality. Crisp refreshing finish.

  7. 2013 Sincronia Blanc (Chardonnay, Parellada, Prensal), Mesquida Mora

The nose is gently aromatic, showing crisp notes of greengage and pear, the palate is finely textured with a minerally undertone from the Prensal grape – altogether a fresh, zesty delicate and balanced white.

  8. 2013 Le Domaine White, Abadia Retuerta

The sun drenched soils of Abadía Retuerta’s vineyards in Sardon de Duero are perfect for ripening the Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo grapes for this complex, age-worthy wine. On the nose there is an intense bouquet of honey, preserved peaches, ginger and white flowers, alongside subtle notes of mint and embers. The palate opens softly, with exotic citrus, grapefruit and apple, merging with hints of freshly cut hay and aniseed. The structure has a perfectly alignment of crisp acidity, warming spicy fruit and a long, lingering finish

  9. 2013 Acrollam Blanc, Mesquida Mora

The delicate, aromatic nose is dominated by the citrus family; lemon, grapefruit and lime, with tropical hints, white flower and a mineral note from the Prensal Blanc. The palate is fresh, saline and mineral with good acidity and lots of tangy lemon zing.

  10. 2013 Alma de Blanco Godello, Pazo das Tapias

Like its more renowned cousin, Albariño, this 100% Godello is crisp and fresh with light peach notes and a floral finish. Cool climate Spain is arguably producing some of the best fresh white styles in the world.
