Wine
-
A very youthful straw yellow color. The aromas are of ripe bosc pear, fuji apple, lime and honeysuckle combined with the perfumed vanilla and a toasty oak bouquet. The flavors are very clean with ripe pear, subtle floral notes and vanilla toastiness, producing layers of complexity with an excellent balance of fresh fruit acidity and palate-weight.
-
Sophisticated nose of lemon curd, peaches, and a hint of pie crust. On the palate, zippy stone fruit and tropical notes, pineapple and soft vanilla bean on the finish.
-
Appetizing display of luscious aromas with fresh apricot and pear fruit tang on the palate. A third of this wine spent 10 months in brand new American oak, barrel fermented and left on its lees. The rest of the blend was fermented in stainless steel tanks
-
Classic Clarksburg personality shines through in the green apple and pear notes, while a bit more tropical pineapple breezes by. The rich mouthfeel created by aging on the lees abounds mid-palate, while the finish is wrapped in creamy textures and tones from the malolactic fermentation. Spicy American oak notes of butterscotch and vanilla are the perfect balance to the freshness and acidity of this multifaceted wine.
-
The complex and delicate aromas of lime zest, pear, white blossoms, apricot and vanilla are complemented by an almost sweet, oily, creamy yet well balanced texture.
