    2013 Chardonnay, Bogle Vineyards

    (12x75cl)

Classic Clarksburg personality shines through in the green apple and pear notes, while a bit more tropical pineapple breezes by. The rich mouthfeel created by aging on the lees abounds mid-palate, while the finish is wrapped in creamy textures and tones from the malolactic fermentation. Spicy American oak notes of butterscotch and vanilla are the perfect balance to the freshness and acidity of this multifaceted wine.

    2013 Ariel Chardonnay, J. Lohr

    (12x75cl)

Ariel Chardonnay has a distinctive combination of buttery apple and butterscotch characteristics combined with a toasty French oak bouquet and should continue to develop complexity as it ages.

  3. 2013 Riverstone Chardonnay, J. Lohr

A very youthful straw yellow color. The aromas are of ripe bosc pear, fuji apple, lime and honeysuckle combined with the perfumed vanilla and a toasty oak bouquet. The flavors are very clean with ripe pear, subtle floral notes and vanilla toastiness, producing layers of complexity with an excellent balance of fresh fruit acidity and palate-weight.

  4. 2012 Karia Chardonnay, Stag's Leap Wine Cellars

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is famous as the winery that beat Bordeaux’s best in 1976’s Judgement of Paris, a moment which transformed the image of Californian wine around the world. Fast forward nearly 40 years, and the winery is still producing finely honed Chardonnay like Karia, a wine which opens with aromas of peach, yellow apple, spice and a pleasing sweet cream vanilla note. The palate is alive with citrus and light honey notes that lead to a lingering, fresh, minerally finish.

  5. 2012 Eroica Riesling, Ste Michelle

Eroica is a labour of love for two of the world’s great Riesling producers – Germany’s Dr Loosen and Washington State’s Chateau Ste. Michelle. Named after Beethoven’s Third Symphony, Eroica reflects not only its variety and site, but also its heritage: bold and forward from its Washington roots, elegant and refined from German inspiration. This Riesling offers sweet lime and tangerine aromas with subtle mineral notes, and a mouth-watering acidity that is beautifully balanced by the generously fruity Washington grapes.

  6. 2014 Chenin Blanc, Bogle Vineyards

Clarksburg has long been known as a remarkable place to grow Chenin Blanc. Crisp and refreshing, this wine begins with a surprising touch of fresh anise on the nose. Richer flavours of stone fruits like peaches and apricots balance the mouthfeel, while the soft and supple texture integrates the palate all the way through the honeyed finish.

  7. 2012 Chardonnay, 14 Hands

    2012 Chardonnay, 14 Hands

    (12x75cl)

The inspiration for 14 Hands wines recalls a time when wild mustangs roamed freely on the hills of eastern Washington State. This unique and beautiful landscape that gave these unbridled horses their spirit and tenacity now feeds their vines. This Chardonnay offers bright aromas of apples and pears with a touch of caramel and spice. Elegant fruit flavours give way to hints of butter and vanilla, ending with a juicy, fresh finish.

  8. 2013 H3 Chardonnay Horse Heaven Hills, Columbia Crest

The vineyards in Horse Heaven Hills are the source and inspiration behind the H3 wines. The hills have been home to the Columbia Crest winery for three decades, and it is this heritage that has helped them to create wines that capture the unique terroir of the region. This elegant, medium-bodied Chardonnay opens with aromas of spiced pear and freshly sliced apples with notes of blossoms and honey. Hints of toasty coconut join flavours of white orchard fruits, pineapple, grapefruit and sweet oak, ending with a long finish of creamy vanilla.

  9. 2013 Chardonnay, Cannonball

    2013 Chardonnay, Cannonball

    (12x75cl)

Sophisticated nose of lemon curd, peaches, and a hint of pie crust. On the palate, zippy stone fruit and tropical notes, pineapple and soft vanilla bean on the finish.

  10. 2013 Dry Riesling, Chateau Ste Michelle

Produced by Chateau Ste. Michelle, the founding winery of Washington State, this cool climate Riesling is made in a crisp, dry, refreshing style with mouth-watering acidity and an elegant finish. According to the winemaker, the inviting citrus aromas and flavours of ripe apricot are a winner when served alongside a platter of freshly shucked oysters.
