Wine
-
An aromatic, sparkling wine with notes of musk, sage and honey on the nose and a taste of just picked grapes.
-
One of the finest non vintage Champagnes available, always rich, toasty and full bodied, with wonderful concentration and depth of flavour. Many Champagne houses aspire to this style but few succeed as well as Bollinger.
-
Bright and pale lemon yellow in the glass with an enticing minerality on the nose followed up with crunchy green apple, camomile and lemons. Fresh attack on the palate leading into a fresh and crisp finish.
-
Wild raspberry and plum fruit aromas with spice and a little vanilla from oak barrels. This is an elegant wine with firm but not heavy tannin structure. The texture is silky and there is great persistence of wild fruit flavours on the finish.
-
Easy drinking medium white wine with a floral bouquet and intense flavour. Ideal slightly chilled on its own or with light seafood or salads.
-
Straw coloured, clear and bright. The bouquet is both floral and fruity, with a underlying hint of almond. Dry and firm on the palate; light bodied and elegant.
-
The colour is a deep, vibrant crimson. Blackberry, black pepper, savoury and spice elements are prominent. Multi-layered complexity is the aim. Powerful but ripe and round tannins give the wine great structure. Oak aging plays a minor part and the wine lives on its fruit. Combined with good acidity, mineral, earthy and tarry characters result in a wine that is distinctly Northern Rhone-like rather than resembling any thing Australian.
-
Lemons and minerals on the nose followed by a fresh palate with medium body and no oak.
-
Deep garnet in colour with a subtle nose of red berry fruit. Soft and elegant on the palate with fine ripe tannin and a complex finish.
-
Bright golden yellow in the glass with grapey fruity notes on the nose and a smooth, medium-bodied palate with a slight almond twist on the finish.
