  1. 2013 Saumur Rosé La Cabriole, Cave de Saumur

Beautiful light rose pink colour. A powerful nose full of red fruits, brambles and violets. The palate is delicate, fresh with a long, aromatic finish.

  2. 2013 Sancerre Rosé, Domaine du Carrou, Dominique Roger

Pale salmon pink in colour with a subtle nose of wild strawberries. On the palate the wine is delicate and soft with elegant red fruit character and well balanced acidity. Clean and dry with a crisp, refreshing finish.

  3. 2010 Sancerre Cuvée Insolite, Domaine Franck Millet

Pronounced, expressive nose of green fruits, fresh cut grass and minerals. The palate is clean and ultra crisp; medium bodied and packed with greengage, lime and gooseberry fruit. The finish is clean, showing a real sense of place through its minerality.

  4. NV Saumur Brut, Domaine de Brizé

A really superb sparkling Loire, dry but not aggressive, produced from Chenin Blanc in the small village of Martigne-Briand, close to the town of Saumur. The wine has a beautifully fragrant English late summer fruits bouquet (apples and pears) and is clean, fresh and lively on the palate, a great alternative to Champagne.

  5. NV Saumur Brut Rosé, Domaine de Brizé

Has a vibrant strawberry colour and very fine, persistent bubbles. It has a red fruit nose with currants and summer fruits very evident. The wine really comes alive on the palate, being dry but with a wonderful crunchy (apple) fruit character and red fruits on the finish. Well made, well-rounded, delicious - too easy to drink too much of it!

  6. 2012 Menetou Salon Blanc Domaine du Chatenoy, Pierre Clement

Lively citrus and grassy herb aromas. The palate is medium to light in body, dry and with good limey acidity that magnifies the citrus and mineral characters. Lengthy, clean and absolutely no oak on this 100% Sauvignon Blanc.

  7. 2013 Sancerre, Le Petit Broux, Les Celliers der Cérès

Overt gooseberry style Sauvignon flavour mingled with some exotic scents. Immediately appealing, crisp and clean with a good concentration of fruit. Although immediately drinkable the it usually needs about six months in the bottle to lose its initial greenness.

  8. 2013 Muscadet de Sevre et Maine sur lie V V, Château du Poyet

Pale yellow in colour with a touch of complexity on the nose brought about by ageing on the lees. The palate is well balanced with surprisingly good weight and concentration followed by a clean, crisp finish.

  9. 2011 Sancerre Blanc, Domaine du Carrou, Dominique Roger

A grassy nose with hints of gooseberries; well balanced palate with a good concentration of fruit and racy acidity.

  10. 2011 Vouvray Sec, Sylvain Gaudron

Very pale lemon yellow colour. Hints of honey and fresh hay typical of Chenin. Chalky minerality. Backbone of high acidity keeping the wine taut, energetic and fresh.
