Wine
-
deep ebony with dense aromas of raisins, dates and honey. The palate is unctuous and complex with a long, candied fruit finish.
-
A ruby red colour, with bright intensity. Fresh winy varietals with good vanilla flavours. Soft and warm, with silky and sweet tannins.
-
Pale straw in colour with intense yet delicate aromas of fresh bread and almonds. The palate is light, fresh and bone-dry
-
amber in colour with complex, intense, saline aromas of hazlenuts and bitter almonds. Bone-dry and goes on...and on...and on...
-
The very lightly oaked Escale Pinot Noir is elegant and fruity, displaying all the hallmarks of the Pinot grape with hints of raspberries on the nose and silky tannin structure on the palate.
-
Opaque blood red in colour with a vibrant, heady nose of red berry fruit and exotic spices. Medium to full bodied with an anchoring, underlying structure and densely packed black berry and cherry fruit flavours. Finishing polished, with rounded spicy oak.
-
Sun-dried apricot and rose petal aromas, with rosemary undertones. This wine is clean, fresh and minerally.
-
A really superb sparkling Loire, dry but not aggressive, produced from Chenin Blanc in the small village of Martigne-Briand, close to the town of Saumur. The wine has a beautifully fragrant English late summer fruits bouquet (apples and pears) and is clean, fresh and lively on the palate, a great alternative to Champagne.
-
The complex and delicate aromas of lime zest, pear, white blossoms, apricot and vanilla are complemented by an almost sweet, oily, creamy yet well balanced texture.
-
Pure Pinot Noir with a wonderfully perfumed nose. The palate offers great structure and concentration with ripe, subtle fruit and fine tannins. This is a wine that can be savoured now but that will also last for many years to come.
