    champagne

    2005 Taittinger Brut, Vintage

    (6x75cl)

Pale yellow colour with bright fine bubbles. On the nose it is elegant and fresh and light. Slightly vegetal, it is extremely flowery and has tealeaf aromas. On the palate, this wine is initially harmonious and lively, then fruity with flavours of white peaches, kiwi and mango. On the finish it has great finesse and length.

  2. NV Ultra Brut, Laurent Perrier
    champagne

    NV Ultra Brut, Laurent Perrier

    (6x75cl)

This delicate champagne is essentially champagne in its purest form because it is made without the addition of the sugar dosage found in most champagne. Ultra Brut can only be made in years when the grapes are at optimum ripeness with a good balance of acidity and natural sugar.

  3. 2004 Belle Epoque, Perrier Jouët

Magnificent greenish gold in colour with a chrystalline brightness and a strong, intense effervescence with fine and regular bubbles. Highly aromatic and packed with notes of white flowers, honey, lemon, fresh plum and pineapple. The palate confirms the complexity and richness of the bouquet with an initial lively freshness leading into a rounded palate that displays notes of honey, vanilla and short bread right through the long, long finish. Truly inspiring.

  4. 2004 Cristal Champagne, Louis Roederer

Cristal bursts from the glass with fresh hazelnut and apple scents. Elegant, deep, and silky-textured, this medium to full-bodied beauty is immensely concentrated, pure, packed with apple flavours, and astoundingly long in the finish.

  5. NV Brut Baron De Marck, Gobillard

A pure, limpid and soft champagne with stylish character. Its fruit is fresh and appealing, bursting with apples and lemons. An uplifting note of freshly baked brioche adds complexity and class to an elegantly balanced palate.

  6. NV Brut Mosaïque, Champagne Jacquart

Light, golden yellow colour with fine, long-lasting bubbles. The bouquet is lovely and fresh with fruity grape and pear hints mingling with intense notes of bread crust. Fresh and rather powerful on the palate creating a balanced overall impression with a lovely, long-lasting finish; spice bread and fruit flavours.

  7. NV Cuvée Rosé Brut, Laurent Perrier

Using only the highest quality Pinot Noir grapes, this is one of the few rosé champagnes that is made by drawing the juice from black grapes in the vat, instead of simply blending red and white wines. This gives it the highly expressive bouquet, extraordinary depth and freshness, and delicious red berry flavours that have made it a benchmark for all rosé champagnes around the world.

  8. NV Extra Brut, Champagne Jacquart

Very fine bubbles. Brilliant golden yellow colour. Complex and fresh with notes of white blossom, chalk and quince jam that gives way to notes of brioche and toast. Fresh and round, with a crisp mineral finish.

  9. 1998 Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs

On the nose the aromas are delicate and with a subtle nuances of wood, but there is great underlying depth. On the palate it offers a lively, clean but balanced first impression. It is fine and lean yet displays excellent length. Flavours of candied citrus fruits predominate, but there is a balanced touch of nuttiness.

The palate is impetuous yet full, with a cheerful vitality due to its persistent stream of sprightly bubbles. There are rich flavours of brioche, butter and a long dry finish.
