  1. 2014 Crozes Hermitage Papillon, Domaine Gilles Robin

Wow - immediate dancing Syrah perfume of plums and violets. Vibrant and exciting, lots going on. Great texture and balance between front-mid-end palate. Has freshness as well as opulence, tannin is very fine and well-textured and there’s great sustain of flavour on the finish.

  2. 2014 Viognier IGP, Domaine Cuilleron

This is an aromatic wine, with delicate floral notes and hints of apricot; fresh and dry.

  3. 2014 Côtes du Rhône Blanc, Laudun Chusclan

Light gold colour, expressive nose of stone fruit and floral notes.

  4. 2014 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc, Domaine Chante Cigale

Hauntingly fragrant, reminiscent of almond and peach blossom. The palate is a wonderfully smooth, silky textured balance of dried apricot fruit and fresh appley acidity.

    NV Les Rouliers, Henri Bonneau

    (12x75cl)

You don't find many Vin de Table of this quality. An explosive nose of strawberry jam, fig, black cherry with animal and tobacco notes. Similar flavours are found on the palate. Supple, savory, superb.

  6. 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge l'Accent de la Roquète, Dom Roquète

Bright red. Dark berries and cherry on the nose, with complex garrigue, licquorice and olive nuances. Fleshy, pure red and dark berry flavours are complimented by layers of mouthfilling, ripe tannins. Gorgeous sweet fruit on the finish. Overall, a very balanced and elegant prestige blend, without overextraction or excessive alcohol levels.

  7. 2010 Côtes du Rhône Cairanne Les Travers, Brusset

A deep garnet colour with youthful purplish hints at the rim. It has a fresh spicy nose with aromas of Christmas cake and mulled wine. On the palate it is concentrated and very elegant with fine spicy concentrated red and black fruits, soft tannins, and real elegance on the finish.

  8. 2010 Gigondas les Hauts de Montmirail, Domaine Brusset

Deep crimson in colour, with a rich, spicy, smoky aroma, showing hints of chocolate and blackberry and a rounded, powerful palate with mouthfilling fruit.

  9. 2009 Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge l'Accent de la Roquète, Dom Roquète

  10. 2009 Côte Rôtie, Les Terres Sombres, Domaine Yves Cuilleron

Intensely purple/black in colour, almost opaque. The nose is a concentrated wall of spices, mineral tones and dark berry fruits. Deeply concentrated, tight and seriously well structured, the palate is immense in its breadth and length showing a wealth of blackberry, fruits of the forest and spiced, wooded flavours. The firm finish means you won't forget this one easily.
