All these combine to assail the palate with a level of density, structure and viscosity to offer an outstanding mouth-feel. A liquid velvet texture is transformed by a rocky, minerally element.     A deep, dark cherry-coloured with extraordinary intensity and complexity. Blackberries and floral notes are detected first on the nose. The fruit is well-integrated with the wood, displaying spicy aromas from the French oak; cinnamon, leather, tobacco, truffle and black liquorice. Sweet, smooth tannins coat the palate and the mouth is full-bodied and persistant with an array of complex flavours.
