The family’s scrupulous vineyard selection produces aromatically rich grapes, with fine, floral scents and hints of bitter almond. The intensity of Cecchi’s brilliant example is exquisitely balanced by crisp, citrus freshness and a beguiling perfume.

It shows a deep straw yellow hue, with a hint of light green. Elegant bouquet with a scent of vanilla. Good balance and long finish.

  3. 2014 Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Cecchi

Vernaccia is characterised by a light straw colour which tends to become golden with ageing. Its fine persistent aroma has a fresh and harmonious balance with a light aftertaste reminiscent of bitter almonds. It is well structured with well balanced body and acidity.

  4. 2013 Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Panizzi

This wine has a light straw yellow colour with a greenish glow. There is a complex, rich delicate bouquet, initially reminiscent of Broom and lime, then suggesting a sensation of mixed fruity flavours of green apples, pears and pineapple. A well balanced, dry and fragrant wine that stresses its fruity flavour. Pleasantly persisting, slightly bitter aftertaste.
