  1. 2005 Shiraz, Tappa Pass, Henschke

    Very deep crimson in colour. The nose is concentrated and complex, with sweet lifted ripe aromas of spicy blackberries, blueberries and prunes, with hints of chocolate, anise and tar. The palate is sweet, ripe and lush, concentrated and complex, with intense blackberry fruits, plum, anise, cedar and tar. The texture is fleshy with silky layered tannins, excellent balance and great length.

    Bonizio has a deep and intense colour, it has a complex aroma of Mediterranean herbs. It is complex but has an immediacy and charm that make it immensely attractive.

  3. 2010 La Mascota Cabernet, Bodegas Santa Ana

    This wine has a deep red colour with hints of violet. Aromas of licorice, cassis and warm raspberry jam. The palate is full bodied, complex and long with an elegant touch of roasted pepper and chocolate.

  4. Deep crimson in colour. Lifted and perfumed with violets, cassis, blueberries, plums, blackberries and spice with hints of vanilla and cedar. The palate is supple and shows soft, fleshy, nicely textured fruit with mossy notes and a long finish.

    The palate is up-front with sweet ripe fruit and touches of spice. It has a gorgeous chewy and
    well-endowed plush texture. Pure, complex and interesting.

    Brick red in colour with earthy brown edges. The nose is pronounced and complex, offering an entertaining array of red and black berry fruits, spices and oaky aromas. The palate is medium to full bodied with a richly complex middle and an everlasting, elegant finish. The tannic structure that dominated the wine in its youth is beginning to mellow and allow mature, secondary characteristics to show. A stunning wine with enormous appeal.

  7. 2007 Ognisanti Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC, Bertani

    At the nose appreciates the sweetness of its aromas,
    that combine the red fruits like compote of red and
    sour cherries with the spices and eucalyptol.
    In the mouth it opens widely and enfolding, leaving
    those sweet notes of cherry and dried prunes already
    detected by the nose.
