Concentrated and complex nose with lovely ripe, intense fruit of black cherry and plums. Fine French oak adds a toasty, smoky aroma. The palate is full, plush and concentrated with great poise and velvety tannins. It has a long, persistent finish.
Very complex in quite full-on style that splits the difference between, say, Mornington and Russian River Valley. Great sweetness. Spicy and flattering – quite long. 17/20 - Jancis Robinson MW -
Rich plum and blackberry with an array of spice and hints of Viognier aromatics. Juicy, rich dark berry fruit with wonderful texture and soft, dry tannins.
