    The small percentage of wine fermented in wood softens the refreshing acidity typical of the Carricante and add complexity to the mineral character of this volcanic wine.

    Bright ruby body with a garnet rim and a spicy nose with wild cherries, cassis and ripe grapes. Juicy body with soft mooth and fruity palate with a slightly peppery finish.

    Deep ruby red in the glass, it's bold and juicy with red-berry fruit flavours and a touch of sweet oak spice. Deliciously moreish.

  10. 2013  Ailalá Treixadura, Ribeiros Do Avia

    Pale gold in colour with lively reflections. There are clean, powerful aromatics on the nose with apricot, white flowers and a sort of saline, sea-shell undertone. Spices such as clove, mint and fennel are also present. The palate displays sweet lemon and ripe melon with plenty of zing and grapefruit peel. A wine of great complexity and style and with bags of character. Treixadura is truly a noble grape!
