This Armagnac distilled in 1970 has a very aromatic nose with hints of vanilla and spice. On the palate it is wonderfully well balanced with a light shade of vanilla and fine elegant fruit.

After thirty years, the Armagnac undergoes a conversion and becomes extremely complex and aromatic. The nose of the 1967 is powerful, with notes of wood. On the palate the spirit is harmonious and smooth.

The 1979 has a delicate nose with hints of perfume. It has aromas of fruits like peach and prune. It is extremely long in the mouth with lots of fruit character and a hint of spice.

Almost opaque ruby colour; blackberry nose; dry palate with balance of sweet-tasting fruit and soft, complex tannins; has layers of smoky, spicy, berry flavours. Sounds like an anonymous "modern" wine? Not at all, this has a hint of terroir rusticity which adds character.
