Almost opaque ruby colour; blackberry nose; dry palate with balance of sweet-tasting fruit and soft, complex tannins; has layers of smoky, spicy, berry flavours. Sounds like an anonymous "modern" wine? Not at all, this has a hint of terroir rusticity which adds character.

Showing a lively bouquet of plum, blueberry and hints of blackcurrant on the nose. The palate is rounded, soft and juicy.

A light, crisp blend from Alain Gayrel made with fresh, vibrant grape varieties. This is an excellent aperitif wine, that will also match gracefully light dishes such as chicken salads. Excellent value for money, and a wine that very much over-delivers on its name (Pinard is the French name for 'plonk'!).

Pale-medium rose. Soft red fruit nose. Clean and dry on the palate with a freshness and attractive berry fruits. Elegant, light finish.
