  1. 2012 Primitivo Salento, Boheme

Starbright ruby red in the glass. Aroma of plums and strawberry jam. Balanced on the palate without any of the excesses of alcohol which sometimes blight this variety.

  2. 2006 Duca di Aragona, Francesco Candido

Full, bright ruby showing lightly amber at the rim. Very intense on the nose, clear and fragrant. Enormously satisfying on the palate, combining warmth and austerity with a fine harmony of flavours ranging from roasted coffee beans, tobacco and spice and a fine, well integrated hint of new oak.

  3. 2008 Salice Salentino Riserva, Francesco Candido

Robust and rustic with dried fruit (fig/prune) flavours accompanied by a creamy bitter-chocolate character, balanced by moderate acidity and smoky oak, with superb length.

  4. 2011 Salice Salentino Rosato, Le Pozzelle, Francesco Candido

Bright and coral in colour, rich on the nose, opulent, floral with fine fruit. On the palate it is dry, harmonious, rich and elegant with a pleasantly dry aftertaste.

  5. 2010 Nero di Troia IGT Murgia Rosso, Botromagno

Almost opaque ruby red with a deeply fruity mulberry aroma and a lovely sweet flavour of blueberries and cream.

  6. 2009 Primitivo del Salento, Francesco Candido

This wine possesses a fragrant, attractive nose reminiscent of summer fruit compote and Mediterranean spices. The palate is medium bodied and packed with jammy, baked red and black fruit flavours, soft, well integrated structure and a rounded, dry finish.

  7. 2008 Cappello di Prete, Rosso del Salento, Francesco Candido

Rich and spicy on the nose, very harmonious. Well structured on the palate, concentrated, round, well balanced with strong but sweet tannins on a pleasantly bitter background.

  8. 2010 Primitivo della Puglia, Botromagno

The colour is deep ruby red. On the nose the wine shows a delicate scent of berry fruits. The palate is elegant, intense with soft natural tannins (no oak). The alcohol content is distinct but not overpowering.

  9. 2004 Aleatico di Puglia, Francesco Candido

Crimson in colour developing hints of amber with maturity. Broad, rich, penetrating and showing maturity on the nose. On the palate, medium sweet with a good acid backbone, velvety and delicious with dried raisin characteristics reminiscent of Muscat.
