  1. Beurrot Pinot Gris 14 Kooyong 6/75
  2. Coppermine Rd Cab 09 d'Arenberg 6/75

The nose exhibits classic Cabernet aromatics of black currant leaf, violets and cigar box with an interesting twist of cooking spice and mustard seed.
These lovely savoury notes are followed through onto the palate but swept along by an underlying sweet blackcurrant and mulberry fruitiness that builds as the wine continues to evolve in your glass.
The initially cedary tannins, start early and give the wine an incredible line.
An intriguing fennel note accompanies the chalky tannins that are picked up on the finish, which is long and lingering.

  3. Dead Arm Shiraz 10 d'Arenberg 6/75

Dark fruit and savoury characters leap from the glass, in particular there is liquorice and blackberry, laced with a hint of char. Complexity in the shape of iodine and soil like notes follow. The wine is powerful and structured. There is a plethora of sweet fruit character, plums and mulberries, but not a hint of fatness. Rather the wine is quite compact and focused.
A powerful yet refined expression of Shiraz with balance, complexity and persistence.

  6. Anaperenna Shiraz Cab 12 Glaetzer 6/75

Enticing liquorice and fragrant herb notes on the nose, revealing hints of dark stone fruits and cassis with layers of roasted coffee beans. The key characteristic on the palate is the textural tannins that provide support for the supple yet restrained palate - finishing with freshness, purity and length.

  7. Stump Jump Cab Sauv 11 d'Arenberg 6/75

Sweet crème de cassis and mulberry, aromatic violets with a twist of blackcurrant leaf, if you were in any doubt as to the wines varietal provenance. Shows beautifully elegant on the palate but still offers plenty of dark, sweet fruits. The mint and leafy notes work as a nice counter point to the more luscious mulberry fruit. The cedary notes and fine grained tannin draw the wine to a long and focused finish. Primary, balanced and vibrant in youth, this wine is as appealing now as it will no doubt be in 3-5 years.

  8. Keyneton Est Euph 12 Henschke 6/75

Pale lemon green in colour, this Pinot Grigio displays an attractive nose with hints of melon, pear and apple blossom. The palate is fresh and lively with a touch of spice and citrus. Vibrant dark raspberry in colour with expansive aromas of poached dark-fleshed plums, blueberry muffins, star anise, violets and mocha. The palate is reminiscent of pane forte - exotic spices and ripe plums, red fruits and chewy tannins.
