The northerly vineyards of Columbia Valley have a cool climate that is similar to the famous region of Champagne, allowing premium grapes to ripen slowly and develop excellent fruit character and crisp acidity. The delicate flavours of apples and citrus are balanced by subtle undertones of brioche and almonds that have developed during its 18 months spent maturing in the bottle.

    2012 Chardonnay, 14 Hands

The inspiration for 14 Hands wines recalls a time when wild mustangs roamed freely on the hills of eastern Washington State. This unique and beautiful landscape that gave these unbridled horses their spirit and tenacity now feeds their vines. This Chardonnay offers bright aromas of apples and pears with a touch of caramel and spice. Elegant fruit flavours give way to hints of butter and vanilla, ending with a juicy, fresh finish.

    2013 Merlot, Bogle Vineyards

Concentrated and full-bodied, the 2009 Merlot is a study in contrasts. Subtle and silky, yet bright and intense, this deep red wine is multifaceted. Black raspberry and dark cherry greet the nose, while the brighter fruit of ripe summer plum dazzles the palate. The toast and spice of twelve months in American oak seamlessly integrate with the tannin structure of this wine, leaving a long, lingering finish.

  5. 2012 Pinot Noir Ribbon Ridge, Omero

This Pinot is very aromatic and texture driven. It has a spicy dark red fruit and floral nose of candied violets, black plum, fresh earth and sandalwood, with a palate of cassis, dark cherry and baking spices on the long and delicate finish.

  6. 2013 Zinfandel, Painter Bridge

Great color density with youthful garnet red hues. The aromas are ripe red fruits of raspberry, black currant and strawberry preserves with black tea, white and black pepper spice. The palate delivers a fruity, plump, yet supple wine with some spicy Zinfandel pepperiness.

  7. 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, Cannonball
  8. 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, Long Meadow Ranch

The nose has notes of blackberries, the briar patch, cedar, dried herbs and a hint of smoky black tea. The palate is structured and refreshingly generous with additional flavors of dried plums, cherry and cola. The well-knit tannins and pleasant mouthwatering acidity support a persistent finish laced with rich notes of cedar and vanilla.
