    whitewine

    2010 Chardonnay, Thelema

    (6x75cl)

Has a rich, bright, golden yellow hue and an aromatic, complex nose of lime marmalade, guava and melon fruit and toasty oak nuances. The palate is medium to full bodied and rounded, packed with luscious tropical fruit flavours, a delicious mineral streak and well integrated, nutty oak which lends a creamy texture in the mouth. Finishes soft and succulent.

  2. 2008 Sutherland Cabernet Blend, Thelema

This blend was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is packed with dark
fruit flavours, and shows a pleasant spiciness on the palate. There is a refreshing sweet
    blackcurrant finish. Will reward cellaring.

  3. Delicate floral fruit with underlying grassier tones. As it ages mineral and flinty flavours come to the fore, so don’t drink all of it too young!

  4. Morgenster 300yr Anniv vint 2000,01,03,05,06,08

Dense, rich, plum red in colour. The presence of blackberries, pepper, and spice show the slight dominance of the Cabernets. The complex palate identifies an elegant balance between the classic oak tannins and equality between fresh rip berry flavours and ripe integrated varietal tannins.

  5. 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, Stellenbosch, Thelema

This wine has a complex nose of mint, blackcurrant and chocolate and the palate is juicy and ripe. There is a good layer of toasty oak in the background to complement the black cherry and cassis fruit flavours and grippy mid-palate tannin. Very long, clean and elegant on the finish.

  6. 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, Man Vintners

A bold and juicy red wine with red-berry fruit aromas and a touch of oak spice. Classic cabernet cassis and red-currant fruit flavours with silky tannins and long finish.

  7. 2010 Sutherland Oaked Chardonnay, Thelema

Fresh citrus flavours combine brilliantly with subtle toasty oak. This wine has pure, clean fruit, leaving a fresh finish. This wine shows surprising complexity for such a young wine. Should age gracefully

  8. 2008 Lourens River Valley Red, Morgenster

Opaque centre with lighter brick red edges, young and vibrant red.Starts out more herbaceous with lavender and thyme in the lead. Cabernet franc much more predominant with some whiffs of coffee. Then comes the cassis, raspberry and perfumey rose petals. Elegant and accessible entry, fullness is a given. A seamlessly put together palate. Beautiful balance of fruit, wood and acidity.

  9. 2009 Mountain Red, Thelema

    2009 Mountain Red, Thelema

    (6x75cl)

Spicy aromas of black pepper and mulberry mingle with the plum flavours in this soft and approachable wine.

  10. 2011 Sauvignon Blanc, Iona Wines

This wine has a wonderfully aromatic nose showing fine mineral notes, hints of herbs, leaves and a touch of gooseberry fruit. The palate is extremely well balanced with classic sauvignon characters of gooseberry and grapefruit and a long, fine, minerally finish. Very stylish and polished.
