  1. 2008 Volnay, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

    The nose is a fantastic combination of cherry and rosehip fruit with delicious gamey/spicy/nutty complexity. In the mouth it is medium-bodied and elegant with bright acidity, fine tannin and a complex finish. As befits its septuagenarian winemaker, this is a wonderful traditional Volnay.

  2. 2004 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières, Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux

    Generous toasted almond nose with overtones of honey. Full bodied and very complex in the mid palate with a silky, glycerol texture intertwined with ripe fruit and buttery oak and a clean, mineral finish.

  3. 2008 Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

    Concentrated nose of red and black fruit - fully ripe but without over ripeness, and with classic Burgundian herbal/gamey undertones. In the mouth, rich and concentrated, juicy and immediately very delicious. Tannin is present although velvety and in check, and there is enough acidity to provide freshness and balance.

  4. 2008 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

    Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  5. 2013 Mâcon-Villages, Cave de l'Aurore

    Pale gold in colour with a subtle nose of tropical fruit and refined oak. The palate is well balanced with ripe fruit and fresh well balanced acidity. The finish is long and concentrated with hints of apples and a touch of creaminess.

  6. 2013 Hautes-Cotes de Beaune Blanc, Domaine Henri Delagrange

    White flowers. Fresh and bright aromas complemented by some roundness on the palate, without too much oak or richness.

  7. 2011 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Champs-Perdrix, Alain Michelot

    Beautiful dark red colour; rich concentration of fresh raspberries and black cherries, coupled with violet and earthy mineral notes.

  8. 2011 Puligny-Montrachet les Combettes 1er Cru, Domaine Jacques Prieur

    Well-focused and beautifully pure with hints of white fruit (peach and pear), as well as underlying anised and liquorice. Refined, polished, taut, and dynamic. Spicy, tangy, and crunchy notes. Very elegant, long finish.

  9. 2012 Mercurey Rouge, Domaine Michel Juillot

    Concentrated flavour and linear structure without any hard edges, with fine-grained tannins, red cherry fruit and a hint of earthy minerality.

  10. 2012 Pouilly Fuissé Ampélopsis, Domaine Saumaize Michelin

    Big, perfumed, spicey nose with plenty of pineapples and grapefruits. Just as generous on the palate with a multi layered complexity of tropical, white and stoned fruit, toasty vanilla and palate cleansing citrus rind acidity. Delicious.
