Pale straw in colour with extremely elegant bubbles and a fine mousse. The palate is fine and elegant with well balanced acidity and a crisp dry finish.
-
A blend of Mauzac, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. Complex and very winey on the nose, with notes of Calvados, apple pie, cloves and herbs, and with oak very much in the background. Apple and peach flavours on the palate. Really quite refined and complex - and very persistent. Lovely.
-
A really superb sparkling Loire, dry but not aggressive, produced from Chenin Blanc in the small village of Martigne-Briand, close to the town of Saumur. The wine has a beautifully fragrant English late summer fruits bouquet (apples and pears) and is clean, fresh and lively on the palate, a great alternative to Champagne.
-
Made from Chenin Blanc in a typically dry style with hints of pear and quince on the nose. Ripe and juicy on the palate with a strong chalky minerality, lots of fruits layers and balanced by a benchmark freshness.
-
Clarksburg has long been known as a remarkable place to grow Chenin Blanc. Crisp and refreshing, this wine begins with a surprising touch of fresh anise on the nose. Richer flavors of stone fruits like peaches and apricots balance the mouthfeel, while the soft and supple texture integrates the palate all the way through the honeyed finish.
-
Aromas of honey and honeysuckle can be found on the nose, on the palate it is light, dry and crisp, with well balanced acidity and a long lingering finish of quince, melon and honeydew. Best drunk young.
-
Intense aromas of apricots and canned white peaches with touches of coconut cream. The palate is packed with ripe yellow fruit and other tropical flavours, with balanced, refreshing acidity and a long mineral finish.
-
Very pale lemon yellow colour. Hints of honey and fresh hay typical of Chenin. Chalky minerality. Backbone of high acidity keeping the wine taut, energetic and fresh, but rounded out with the merest hint of sweetness.
-
Tropical fruit, guava and melon aromas, crisp and bold sweet citrus backed by refreshing acidity and minerality characteristic of the coastal vineyards.
-
Fine, persistent mousse. Notes of honey and fresh hay very typical of Chenin. Beautiful vein of acidity. Mineral. Complex with a hint of biscuity character.
