    NV Rosato Villa Mura, Sartori

    (6x75cl)

Glowing pink in colour, with a floral bouquet, it has a fresh, soft flavour.

  2. 1972 Amarone Classico DOC, Bertani

A deep garnet red colour witnesses the long barrel ageing. The first impression on the nose is of fresh black cherry aromas, leading into notes of maraschino cherry and plum. Immense depth and complexity on the palate: dried fruit, oolong tea, liquorice, spice, red-berry fruits, and a long velvety vanilla note on the finish. However, the key to this wine has got to be the sweetness level. It is genuinely dry, unlike many modern-style competitors.

  3. 2011 Secco Valpolicella Valpantena DOC, Bertani

Fantastically full nose boasting red fruits, plums and rhubarb. The palate is dazzling and concentrated, perfectly balanced and with a long, elegant finish.

  4. 2013 Rosso IGT Veronese, Sospiro

Bright ruby red colour with a fruity nose redolent of cherries. On the palate this young wine shows fresh red fruits and medium body and structure.

  5. 2008 Amarone Classico Corte Bra, Sartori

Ruby in colour; ripe fruit aromas, with notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and dried herbs; full bodied on the palate with rich fruit flavours, bright acidity, and a lingering finish.

  6. 2012 Valpolicella Ripasso, Sospiro

Intense ruby, red in colour. Fruity with deep hints of wild berries and jam. This wine is dry, structured with a soft, warm finish.

  7. 2013 Valpolicella Classico DOC, Accordini

Ruby red in the glass with a bouquet of red berries, roses and minerality. Elegant and well-balanced on the palate, it is fruity and fresh, with light tannins and good length.

  8. 2010 Amarone Classico, Acinatico DOC, Accordini

Deep garnet in the glass with an intense black cherry and vanilla bouquet. On the palate it is full bodied, rich and creamy with smooth tannins. At 16% alcohol, it should really be a monster; in reality it is fantastically balanced with a minerality which keeps it fresh and dangerously moreish.

  9. 2005 Amarone Classico DOC, Bertani

  10. 2011 Amarone Valpolicella Valpantena DOC Villa Arvedi, Bertani

Deep dark ruby with a violet rim. Notes of black and sour cherries, berries, spices and dried fruit. The palate is creamy with soft tannins and integrated oak. A lighter, fruitier and younger version of Bertani’s icon Amarone Classico.
