  1. 2009 Château d'Escurac, Médoc

Good dark fruits with a hint of spicy oak. Palate is bright and juicy with well-balanced fruit, oak and appealing tannins. Will improve for up to 5 years.

  2. 2006 Château Talbot, 4ème Cru Classé

Deep ruby in colour. A marvellous array of flavours and aromas, especially blackcurrants, wild berries, leather, herbs, chocolate, vanilla, smoky oak and spices. The tannic structure is tight, well integrated and superbly crafted, beginning to soften now and revealing a seductive side to this famous wine.

  3. 2004 Château Haut Bernat, Puisseguin St Emilion

Merlot dominated, soft, yet structured claret from the 'right banks'. The wine has ripe tannins and excellent fruit concentration, yet elegant.

  4. 2008 Prelude à Grand Puy Ducasse

The wine exhibits a dense, almost opaque colour with deep cherry and tobacco elegance on the nose.
The palate is up-front with sweet ripe fruit and touches of spice. It has a gorgeous chewy and
well-endowed plush texture. Pure, complex and interesting.

  5. 2007 Château Lynch Bages, Pauillac

On the nose, the freshness of the fruit stands out, finding subtle harmony with the wood. On the palate, it is rounded, smooth and mellowed. The tannins are silky and very ripe. The dazzling finish oozes with great class and is astonishingly long.

  6. 2008 Château d'Issan, Margaux

    2008 Château d'Issan, Margaux

    (12x75cl)

Currently extremely youthful with a dark ruby/purple colour, as well as a sweet nose of cassis and spring flowers. Although this wine will never be muscular or exceptionally concentrated, it overdelivers with a stylish, elegant, and well crafted harmony among its structural components.

  7. 2011 Château Mille Roses, Haut Médoc

Raspberries and marzipan on the nose with dense layers of very fine tannins on a medium body with lovely freshness. Serious, but with a very light touch.

  8. 2009 Château Pey La Tour Réserve, Bordeaux Supérieur

Mellow nose, with aromas of dense, fleshy fruit. Tasty and rich, with surprising concentration, good purity and depth, low acidity and plump fleshy fruit. Solid mouthfeel and excellent length.

  9. 2009 Chateau La Louviere Red, Les Vignobles Andre Lurton

A powerful wine, with an elegant bouquet with delicate hits of oak.
Intense, deep colour with black tints. Intense nose of toast, cherry, vanilla and cinnamon.
The nose is complex, mingling fruit with roasted aromas. Smooth, ample, generous upfront, not a hint of aggression, opens onto classy tannins.

  10. 2010 Château d'Arsac Cru Bourgeois, Margaux

Intense garnet-red in colour with a toasty, smoky nose, opening up to reveal a generous bouquet of red fruits. Silky and seductive palate, structured but rounded, with a concentrated middle and a flourish of vanilla and blackcurrant on the finish.
