    Intense yet elegant and sophisticated. it is a powerful wine with a lot of forest fruits. It ends with a rich structure and a great spicey note.

    Deep, brooding purple in colour with some brick red highlights. The nose has pretty red-fruit characters with some hints of spices such as cinnamon and liquorice. The palate is juicy, broad and ripe, packed with red and black berry fruits, a firm, well integrated oaky structure and a bold, well defined finish which makes it a great food wine.

    Bright ruby red colour. A fruity nose with strawberries, hints of red cherries and a subtle wild herb notes with a delicate smokiness and tobacco. Refined on the palate, juicy and full of ripe berry flavours, a hint of minerality and refreshing finish.

  4. 2006 Chianti Classico, Castello di Fonterutoli

    Intense, deep purple with a strong ruby hue, rich aromas of ripe fruit are perfectly fused with notes of oak. Powerful structure, dense, rich, and very long, with a range of concentrated fruit flavours such as blackcurrants, mocha, morello cherry and hints of liquorice. A firm, persistant finish.

    Gorgeously deep ruby colour, the wine boasts red fruit and a supple, rounded mouthfeel, and will hit its peak after 2-3 years in bottle. A classic Saint Emilion.

    Pale purple colour with sweet jam aromas. Soft and smooth on the palate with a long and clean finish.

    Vibrant purple in colour, the nose is packed with brambly fruit with elements of smoke and coffee. Round and supple with finely textured tannins structuring the midpalate alongside spicy red berry fruit and well defined oak influence. Classic, approachable claret style.

    Vibrant aromas of plum with great texture and balance between front-mid-end palate. Fresh but rich with great sustain of flavour on the finish.

  9. 2010 Grenache, Montagne Noire, Vin de Pays d'Oc, Foncalieu

    Soft blueberry, plum and raspberry notes with a smooth structure and gentle tannin. A round and well-balanced palate.

  10. 2008 Volnay, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

    The nose is a fantastic combination of cherry and rosehip fruit with delicious gamey/spicy/nutty complexity. In the mouth it is medium-bodied and elegant with bright acidity, fine tannin and a complex finish. As befits its septuagenarian winemaker, this is a wonderful traditional Volnay.
