  1. 2009 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, Domaine Louis Michel

Serve between 12 and 14°c and preferably aerate the wine in a decanter before drinking. White pepper and nutmeg complete the predominantly mineral character. This wine may appear austere and virile but is expressive in the mouth and designed to age for many years.

  2. 2010 Gavi di Gavi, Vigneto Ciapon DOCG, Bergaglio

This wine is a powerful, but dry and elegant wine with a complex and pleasant taste.

  3. 2010 Le Limoux, Chateau Rives Blanques

A blend of Mauzac, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. Complex and very winey on the nose, with notes of Calvados, apple pie, cloves and herbs, and with oak very much in the background. Apple and peach flavours on the palate. Really quite refined and complex - and very persistent. Lovely.

  4. 2009 Vermentino IGT Maremma zona 8, Cecchi

Zona 8 is unmistakably fresh with traces of succulent summer fruits and a fragrant finish.

  5. 2010 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Château de la Charrière

Light ruby red in the glass this shows clean varietal aromas of strawberries, raspberries and a hint of hay. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, with balanced, fresh acidity and light tannins. Basic Burgundy at its best.

  6. NV Brut, Laurent Perrier

    NV Brut, Laurent Perrier

    (6x75cl)

A strong vivid colour and delicate yet complex nose , indicating a relatively high proportion of black grapes. A mature style of non-vintage champagne with hints of citrus fruit, and a good balanced palate.

  7. NV Trebbiano Poggio della Quercia IGT Rubicone, Contri

Dry, white wine with fruity and upfront bouquet, with a nice citrus fresh finish.

  8. 2011 Pinot Bianco Classici DOC, Colterenzio

Displays a fresh aroma and flavour reminiscent of green apples with a fruity palate and a touch of honeyed complexity alongside crisp acidity and a refreshing, clean finish.

  9. 2010 Exmoor Drive Rosé, Xanadu

The bouquet of this lively wine offers an array of spicy berry fruits with a touch of watermelon and fairy floss, adding confectionary tones. The palate is medium bodied with splashes of zesty cranberry and raspberry fruits combined with hints of ruby grapefruit and lemon sorbet. These lively berry fruits and crisp acidity lead to a refreshing, and lip-smacking dry finish.

  10. 2009 La Chapelle d'Escurac, Château d'Escurac

Ripe Bordeaux aromas of blackberry and touch of oak lift out of the glass. Mid weight tannins and grip give roundness and balance to the wine.
