  1. 1979 Vintage Bas Armagnac, Castarede

The 1979 has a delicate nose with hints of perfume. It has aromas of fruits like peach and prune. It is extremely long in the mouth with lots of fruit character and a hint of spice.

  2. 2010 Grenache, Montagne Noire, Vin de Pays d'Oc, Foncalieu

Soft blueberry, plum and raspberry notes with a smooth structure and gentle tannin. A round and well-balanced palate.

  3. 2009 The Gypsy, Shiraz Grenache, Ken Forrester Wines

The character is somewhat wild, a little brambly with hints of nutmeg, cinnamon, dark spices, with vanilla scents and a distinct, concentrated red-fruit focus. Great for laying down and keeping for at least ten years but already rewarding if allowed to breathe in a decanter.

  4. 2010 Condrieu Les Chaillets, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Cuilleron

Wonderfully opulent and perfumed on the nose with dollops of honey allied to blossom and spicy complexity. The palate is rich and full again with great acidity, giving the wine and exceptional balance, and we suspect longevity.

  5. 2008 Catullo Veneto Rosso IGT, Bertani

Deep ruby with a lovely ripe nose of plums, briar, carob and chocolate, this elegant “Super-Venetian” Cabernet/Merlot/Oseleta blend boasts ripe tannins and balanced structure.

  6. 2011 Escale Pinot Noir, Vin de France

The very lightly oaked Escale Pinot Noir is elegant and fruity, displaying all the hallmarks of the Pinot grape with hints of raspberries on the nose and silky tannin structure on the palate.

  7. 2009 Chardonnay Formigar Cornell DOC, Colterenzio

Pale yellow with greenish reflexes; nutty on the nose with a hint of exotic fruits such as mango and honeydew melon overlaying a discreet aroma of oak; full and broad on the palate, the richness cut by firm acidity.

  8. 2009 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons, Domaine Régis Rossignol Changarnier

Transparent red colour. Musky, chocolaty fruit; slightly mature-smelling. Real development of fruit aroma in the glass over time. On the palate, sweet, delicate fruit, slightly gamey. Excellent length, subtle fruit, light tannin.

  9. NV Brut Rosé, Moët et Chandon

NV Brut Rosé, Moët et Chandon

    (6x75cl)

Rose petal pink with shades of copper, the nose is aromatic and lively with a youthful expression of wild strawberries. The palate is medium bodied and zesty with a persistent mousse, crisp acidity and a delightful balance between red fruit and citrus flavours. Finishes soft and dry.

  10. 2010 Crasto Douro Superior, Quinta do Crasto

Lifted aromas of fresh Douro red forests fruits, very well combined with elegant bush and spice characters. Excellent approach, with upfront red fruits leading to a solid structure with fresh and elegant tannins. Great acidity, developing to a pleasant, well balanced and persistent finished.
