  1. 2014 Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, Bricco Bastia, Conterno Fantino

Mouthwatering acid structure and agreeably soft in texture. Displays lovely cherry, berry and floral flavours, with an earthy, barnyard note. Ready to drink.

  2. 2012 The High Trellis Cabernet Sauvignon, d'Arenberg

Cooler years in McLaren Vale always lead to incredibly expressive and highly varietal Cabernets.
The High Trellis is no exception with an abundance of blackcurrant, violets and minty notes leaping from the glass.
Beautiful bright purple fruits dominate the palate, countered by typical Cabernet characters such as red capsicum skin and fresh mint.
The wine feels quite linear at this stage of its development and the combination of fruit and fine chalky tannins seems to go on and on endlessly.
A wine that can be savoured now or allowed to develop for the next five to 10 years.

  3. 2011 Reserva, Cop de Ma
    redwine

    2011 Reserva, Cop de Ma

    (6x75cl)

A complex, structured nose with layer upon layer of dried red berry fruit which is met with a soft vanilla spice and toasty oak. The palate is elegant and soft with impressive length.

  4. 2014 Les Granges de Félines Grenache Merlot, Domaine de Belle Mare

A blend of Merlot, Grenache and Syrah, this is fresh and fruity with red berry and cherry character and a clean, fruity finish. If you're after an easy quaffing, well made, fruity red this is the one.

  5. 2014 Planeta Frappato, DOC Vittoria

Ruby red withvolet hints. Typical aromas of rose, citrus and red fruit. A soft and full palte bursting with red fruit and a hint of balsamic.

  6. 2010 Barolo DOCG, Vigna La Rosa, Fontanafredda

The Vigna La Rosa Barolo is harmonious, well-rounded and elegant in taste; its very fine and delicate bouquet is reminiscent of faded roses and, with the ageing process, tends to acquire a pronounced earthy style but with a velvety sort of taste.

  7. 2011 Haven Pinot Noir, Kooyong

Spicy, smokey, gamey aromas, leavened in the mouth with hints of anise and heather over succulent black cherry fruit. Well-structured, with richness and a warm, enveloping texture.

  8. 2014 Château Laulerie Merlot, Bergerac, Vignoble Dubard

Soft and supple Merlot blend from up-and-coming young winemaker Grégory Dubard in Bergerac. Lively red fruit with a hint of pepper characterise the nose of this red wine. A supple and velvety palate, accompanied by berry fruit aromas make this medium-weight wine easy-to-drink and ideal for the summer.

  9. 2014 Nero d'Avola, MandraRossa

A ruby red colour, with bright intensity. Fresh winy varietals with good vanilla flavours. Soft and warm, with silky and sweet tannins.

  10. 2012 Estate Selection Pinot Noir, Erath

ERATH is the original winery of the Dundee Hills of Oregon – a place where EARTH and HEART intersect. Their Pinot Noir is an expression of this land, made with passion and artistry; a delicate yet fruity wine, full of minerality from the iron-rich soils. The wine is dark and dense, with incredibly complex aromas of bitter Italian herbs, cured meats, brambles, tangerine peel and a whiff of violets. The palate introduces further layers of flavour with loganberry, pomegranate, dark cherry and sandalwood.
