  1. 2009 Côte Rôtie, Les Terres Sombres, Domaine Yves Cuilleron

Intensely purple/black in colour, almost opaque. The nose is a concentrated wall of spices, mineral tones and dark berry fruits. Deeply concentrated, tight and seriously well structured, the palate is immense in its breadth and length showing a wealth of blackberry, fruits of the forest and spiced, wooded flavours. The firm finish means you won't forget this one easily.

  2. 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge, Domaine La Roquète, Brunier

Deep ruby/purple color and a sweet nose of ripe Grenache along with raspberries, cherries, licquorice, and pepper. On the palate it is both powerful and elegant, with zesty acidity and morderately high tannin. An attractive wine that can be drunk early on or cellared for 12-15 years.

  3. 2007 Coevo IGT, Cecchi

    2007 Coevo IGT, Cecchi

    (6x75cl)

The Sangiovese in this vintage was generous and of outstanding quality, first as grapes and then as juice, bestowing its Chianti-zone violet and earthy aromas, while at the same time displaying the highest elegance and persistence. This was complemented by the lush fruit of the Merlot, the smoke of the Petit Verdot, and the vibrancy of the Cabernet Sauvignon. There is beautiful choreography in the balance between the velvety tannins and alcohol in this new vintage.

  4. 2007 Rosso di Toscana, Siepi, Castello di Fonterutoli

A highly concentrated wine with sweet and dense tannins, it features a unique and original character that is appreciated by wine lovers throughout the world.

  5. 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge l'Accent de la Roquète, Dom Roquète

Bright red. Dark berries and cherry on the nose, with complex garrigue, licquorice and olive nuances. Fleshy, pure red and dark berry flavours are complimented by layers of mouthfilling, ripe tannins. Gorgeous sweet fruit on the finish. Overall, a very balanced and elegant prestige blend, without overextraction or excessive alcohol levels.

  6. 2008 Prelude à Grand Puy Ducasse

The wine exhibits a dense, almost opaque colour with deep cherry and tobacco elegance on the nose.
The palate is up-front with sweet ripe fruit and touches of spice. It has a gorgeous chewy and
well-endowed plush texture. Pure, complex and interesting.

  7. 2008 Château Orisse du Casse, Saint Emilion Grand Cru

A medium bodied, rounded Saint Emillon with blackberry aromas and a rich fruit character.

  8. 2011 d'Arry's Original Shiraz Grenache, d'Arenberg

This wine displays a level of finesse and freshness that we don’t always encounter in other vintages of the same wine. In a somewhat surprising contrast to this, the wine also displays a dense and varied array of fruit characters, from bright lifted purple plums and rhubarb through to more spice and herbal notes such as sage and cardamom, into even more complex earthy flavours of beetroot and soot.
These flavours are perfectly supported by a frame of fine, minerally tannins that add a subtle grip and enticingly long finish.

  9. 2011 Vin de Pays de la Principauté d'Orange, Domaine de la Janasse

A beautiful example of Southern French grape varieties; rich in colour with ripe, red fruit, well-married tannins and herbaceous, spicy flavours full of southern warmth.

  10. 2013 Douro Red, Quinta do Crasto

    Colour: Deep violet.
Nose: Fresh on the nose, with intense berry fruit aromas and elegant floral notes.
Palate: Balanced and well-structured on the palate, with berry fruit flavours. Tannins are round and finely-textured. Elegant and lingering finish.
