  1. 2009 Barolo, Cannubi, E. Pira

The intense and brilliant colour perfectly expresses the polyphenols of a very successful Nebbiolo. On the nose it develops gradually its richness; the initially fruity and spicy aromas envelop notes of sour cherry and raspberry, while hints of cocoa and vanilla make the bouquet even more intriguing

  2. 2011 Poggio alla Badiola, Toscana, Castello di Fonterutoli

This wine is made from Sangiovese grapes, by one of Tuscany's best producers. Delicious, plummy, damson fruit flavours with smooth, integrated tannins.

  3. 2010 Chianti Classico DOCG, Fonterutoli

Dark, richly coloured ruby/garnet. Perfumed nose of black cherry and spice with hints of woodsmoke and tobacco. Full, ripe tannins, integrated acidity and a long finish.

  4. 2010 Viña Collada Rioja, Riscal

Clear, intense, deep cherry red with a violet hue. The nose is clean, medium intensity and youthful with aromas of strawberries and red cherries. The palate has a medium body with attractive ripe fruit flavours with a delicious savoury character and a hint of toast on the finish.

    2011 Malbec, Arido

    (12x75cl)

Bright and fresh with blackcurrant and blackberry aromas. Plump and soft on the palate with cassis and coffee flavours and refreshing acidity. Very charming.

  6. 2010 Syrah Reserva, Vina Falernia

Very bright colour; elegant nose with black pepper and floral notes. Medium-full bodied with very soft tannins and good balance. Great length and fruity after taste.

  7. 2010 Cannonau di Sardegna, Picco del Sole

A typical Sardinian red with a deep ruby colour and a palate brimming with ripe fruit and hints of sweet spice. Good acidity, soft tannins and a well-balanced, persistent finish.

  8. 2011 Châteauneuf Reserve des Oliviers, Maison Favier

The grenache character predominates on the nose with plenty of raspberry fruit. A succulent attack is balanced by fine tannins and good acidity. The finish is marked by spice and blackcurrant.

    2009 Shiraz, Thelema

    (6x75cl)

Opaque, almost black in colour with an aromatic and complex nose of blackberries, currants, liquorice and spices. Full bodied and structured, well balanced with ripe fruit and a lash of vanilla on the firm finish.

  10. 2010 Chateau Bovila Malbec, Cahors

Deep ruby colour with aromas of currants and candied peel. Powerful, but well integrated, tannins, fresh minerality and lively Assam and redcurrant notes. Clean and modern.
