    Smoky and honeyed aromas with hints of peach and apple. Richly sweet on the palate with notes of barley and lemon and an appetising freshness.

    A highly complex wine which entices you with its scents of lime, acacia, apricots, grilled almond and honeyed aromas. The palate is luscious and generous with its sweet apricot, honey, roasted nut and marmalade flavours and perfectly balanced with a zesty, lime rind acidity, finishing clean, uplifted and satisfying.

  4. 2011 The Noble Wrinkled Riesling, d'Arenberg

    It’s a very pretty and lifted nose with fruit characters of fresh apple, mixed peel and rose petals with a spicy background of star anise, cinnamon sticks and a hint of white pepper.
    The palate is lively and floral with yellow citrus flowers, green mango and barley sugar. The acidity is linear and spans the whole palate balancing the natural sugar nicely.
    There are restrained mineral fruit tannins which add a lovely textural element.

    An intense amber colour, with a delicate bouquet of flowers and honeyed fruit tones and rounded off with a slight oaky tones. Rich and mouthfilling with a fresh clean length.

  6. 2010 The Noble Mud Pie Viognier Roussanne, d'Arenberg

    The Viognier is clearly evident on the nose with notes of apricot nectar, ginger, yellow peach blossom and dried citrus peel. Further investigation reveals some lovely florals, spice and a hint of nut characters from the Roussanne. The palate is thick, luscious and powerful. It's full-on botrytis with enormous fruit, spice and floral lift. It's surprisingly complex with dried peach, ripe grapefruit and a hint of rose water adding to the palate. This wine is spectacularly luscious and flavor packed. It will be a fun match to a range of desserts and cheeses at the end of a meal.

  7. 2001 Gewurztraminer Selection Grains Nobles, Trimbach

    Peaches and nectarines abound on the nose, along with scents of lemon, rose and beeswax. The wine manages to be both extremely concentrated and yet very easy to taste, with brilliantly balanced acidity. One of the great Trimbach wines.

  8. 2011 Moelleux Château Laulerie, Côtes de Montravel, Vignoble Dubard

    Pale gold with barley sugar and orange blossom and a sweet, creamy palate.

    Peller Riesling has a delicate straw yellow colour with an intriguing aroma of lemon drops, quince, Bartlett pear and golden raspberries, with a touch of floral honey. On the palate this Icewine displays a luscious yet elegant mouth-feel with fruit flavours of lemon, melon, papaya, mango and orange. It has a refreshing acidity and a long length.

  10. 2011 Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive, Trimbach

    One whiff of the Gewurztraminer Vendange Tardive and your sense of smell is instantly pervaded with ham hock, celery root, brown spices, mint and honey. Primary juices include rose petals and spice and a dusty botrytis character to follow. This is a lusciously sweet and complex wine.
