  5. NV Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Giallo Oro DOC, Ruggeri

Pale straw colour with green tinges, the crystal clarity is laced with a persistent surge of minute bubbles. The bouquet is very delicate with hints of golden apples and acacia flowers. The off-dry palate is fresh and light with an extremely smooth and well-balanced, fruity finish.

  6. NV Brut Cava Rosat (Pinot Noir/Trepat), Castillo de Montblanc

An intense salmon pink colour and fine mousse; the nose is crisp and elegant, dominated by strawberries with a hint of toast. It’s bright and lively in the mouth with good fruit, good acidity and a long-lasting finish.

  7. 2010 Bloomsbury Cuvée Merret, Ridgeview

A light gold colour with a fine persistant mousse. Citrus fruit aromas and a hint of melon and honey. Chardonnay dominance brings finesse, along with crisp fruit freshness and toasty notes. The two Pinot’s add depth and character. A beautifully balanced finish. Will age gracefully over time as the Chardonnay matures. Drink now or age for the next two or three years.

  8. NV Brut di Pinot Nero Rosé VS, Ruggeri

Cherry red with salmon pink highlights and a finely textured, consistent mousse. The nose is fresh, fragrant and inviting, offering light red fruit aromas and hints of biscuity yeast. On the palate the wine is medium bodied and dry, but posessed of a ripe cranberry fruit intensity that balances the bubbles and the crisp finish beautifully.
