    2012 Gravina Bianco, Botromagno

    (6x75cl)

Straw coloured, clear and bright. The bouquet is both floral and fruity, with a underlying hint of almond. Dry and firm on the palate; light bodied and elegant.

  2. 2006 Château Rauzan-Ségla, 2ème Cru Classé

Vibrant purple in colour, the nose is packed with brambly fruit with elements of smoke and coffee. Round and supple with finely textured tannins structuring the midpalate alongside spicy red berry fruit and well defined oak influence. Classic, approachable claret style.

  3. NV Prosecco Brut, Stelle d'Italia

A lively crisp sparkling wine with a delicate lemony character and an aromatic, dry, refreshing finish.

  4. 2013 Vermentino di Maremma IGT La Mora, Cecchi

A white wine with unmistakable traces of succulent summer fruits. Rich, but with a great backbone of freshness. Fragrant and mineral on the finish.

  5. 2013 Gavi di Gavi DOCG, Fontanafredda

One of Italy's most fashionable whites, it is noted for acute dryness and fresh, flinty acidity. This is a bright straw-yellow wine with greenish highlights. It has a full, delicate, elegant bouquet which brings flowers and fresh fruit to mind - mostly lemons, lilies of the valley and green apples. Its palate is attractively young, dry, fresh and well-balanced.

  6. 2011 Faugeres, Domaine des Prés Lasses

Subtly spicy, with ripe red fruit aromas and flavours. Beautifully soft and generous texture with silky-fine tannins and characteristic Southern French 'garrigue' flavours - thyme, rosemary, marjoram and other wild herbs.

  7. 2013 Cruz de Piedra Macabeo, Bodega Virgen de la Sierra

Very pale in colour and pure and clean on nose developing into light tropical aromas. Ripe and rich with good length of fruit on the palate. The wine has balanced acidity and a long creamy finish while remaining very clean. Excellent value for money.

  8. 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos La Roquète, Dom. de la Roquète

Greenish gold with pure, expressive aromas of pear, orange, honey, smoke and camomile. Fleshy fruit on the palate is brightened by a gentle and juicy acidity; oak adds a spiciness. Quite suave, with a gorgeous bright and smoky finish.

  9. 2012 La Place Merlot, IGP Pays d'Oc

Soft and elegant with ripe damson fruit character, subtle tannin and a long elegant finish.

  10. NV Saumur Brut Rosé, Domaine de Brizé

Has a vibrant strawberry colour and very fine, persistent bubbles. It has a red fruit nose with currants and summer fruits very evident. The wine really comes alive on the palate, being dry but with a wonderful crunchy (apple) fruit character and red fruits on the finish. Well made, well-rounded, delicious - too easy to drink too much of it!
