Brilliant red with hints of bay leaf, herbs and spicy blackcurrants on the nose, typically Chilean in style. The palate offers blackcurrant, cassis and blackberry, soft tannins with lingering spicy fruit and a firm finish.

The fruit is well-integrated with the wood, displaying spicy aromas from the French oak; cinnamon, leather, tobacco, truffle and black liquorice. An oak-aged, full-bodied, fruity and spicy wine with complex aromas of ripe plums, cherries, blackberries, cinnamon, chocolate and coffee.

Floral aromas and fresh black fruit fills the nose followed by a complex palate of vanilla, cocoa, toasted coffee and new leather displaying a fine balance of oak and fruit. Deep in colour with a purple hue. The nose is fine and lifted with intense pure cassis aromas, liquorice and nuances of fine smoky French oak. The palate is intense and deep with layered rich cassis, blackberry fruit and mineral overtones. An elegant structure is complemented by good acidity and balance, the finish is long and lingering with fine tannins.

Classic dark 'tar' and perfumed 'roses' on the nose, light in colour but with great power, concentration and well balanced ripe tannins. This is a wine to match with rich foods and game dishes.
