  1. 2012 Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Domaine Maillard

Pale, ruby red in the glass, this a pure and elegant red wine, displaying classic Pinot Noir aromas of wild strawberries and red currants. Smooth, balanced and very moreish.

  2. 2010 Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge l'Accent de la Roquète, Dom Roquète

Bright red. Dark berries and cherry on the nose, with complex garrigue, licquorice and olive nuances. Fleshy, pure red and dark berry flavours are complimented by layers of mouthfilling, ripe tannins. Gorgeous sweet fruit on the finish. Overall, a very balanced and elegant prestige blend, without overextraction or excessive alcohol levels.

    2013 Cirò Rosso, Librandi

    (6x75cl)

Leather, cherry and violets dominate the nose. Rich middle mouth, with fresh acidity and tannins, good fruit and spice. A wonderful medium-bodied texture combines with superfine tannins. Finishes elegantly with nice fruit expression.

  4. 2011 Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières, Domaine Alain Chavy

Fresh, floral, lemony white burgundy with lots of new oak on the finish.

  5. 2011 The Feral Fox Pinot Noir, d'Arenberg

Earthy tones of wild mushroom and truffles are wonderfully countered with lovely, fresh, aromatic notes of musk and flowers, raspberry and kirsch. The palate is fine and balanced, driven forward by a lively line of vibrant acid and ending with that familiar d’Arenberg fine, gritty tannin.

  6. 2012 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles, Domaine Jean Pillot

The intricate nose offers lime, pineapple, creamy vanilla and touches of hazelnut. There is a stylish balance between power and elegance on the palate with steely acidity pinioning the ripe pineapple and juicey peach flavours. There are gracefull touches of oak to be found here too, with dried nuts and honey adding complexity and lending their weight through the dry, crisp, flinty finish.

  7. 2010 Morellino di Scansano Bronzone, Marchese Mazzei

Brick red in colour with purplish depths, the nose is enticingly forward with aromas of cherries and raspberries and hints of plums and vanilla. Medium bodied, fruit driven and rounded with crunchy black cherry flavours and a balancing structure. The finish is clean and textured.

  8. 2004 Cuvée Dom Pérignon, Moët et Chandon

It is pale yellow in colour with shades of straw and on the nose has initial aromas of acacia honey and fresh almonds giving away to notes of dried apricots and toasted brioche. On the palate the wine is full, round and complete with balancing acidity, and a long, silky elegant finish.

  9. 2011 Koshu, 'Sol Lucet', Kurambon Wine

This is a refreshing, delicate and dry wine using Japan’s distinctive Koshu grapes. Very pale in colour, it has lively acidity that is well balanced with the fruit characters of green apple, which comes through towards the finish. The main characteristics of this wine, the Japanese citrus notes of “Kabosu” and “Yasu”, fully express the distinctive character of the Koshu grape.

  10. 2008 Mas Delmera Monastrell Reserva

The rare Monastrell offers aromas of black forest fruits, married to a palate of dark mocha, smooth vanilla and subtle spices. Rich, vibrant and full-bodied.
