    2010 Chardonnay, Planeta

    (6x75cl)

Golden yellow with greenish hue. On the nose it comes across very intense, with citrus fruit flavours, chestnut, honey and a spicy complexity.

  3. 2012 Comte de Provence Rosé, La Vidaubanaise

Classic light pink in the glass. A light, bright nose of wild strawberries. Refreshing and smooth on the palate. Moreish finish.

  4. NV Prosecco Brut, Stelle d'Italia

A lively crisp sparkling wine with a delicate lemony character and an aromatic, dry, refreshing finish.

  5. 2005 Gewurztraminer Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre, Trimbach

Redolent of roses, lychees and spices, this immensely rich Gewurztraminer is so unctuous and viscous when young that it can seem slightly sweet even though it is fermented almost dry. This massive body is balanced by an almost chalky fresh minerality and extract with a result that the wine boasts the elegance and finesse which are the Trimbach trademark.

  6. 2011 Mâcon Charnay Les Chênes, Domaine Manciat-Poncet

Fresh, youthfully ripe aromas of apples and some bready character, the palate is soft and succulent showing grapefruit and mineral flavours with a clean, refreshing finish.

  7. 2010 Vouvray Demi-Sec, Sylvain Gaudron

Very pale lemon yellow colour. Hints of honey and fresh hay typical of Chenin. Chalky minerality. Backbone of high acidity keeping the wine taut, energetic and fresh, but rounded out with the merest hint of sweetness.

  8. NV Prosecco Frizzante Spago Treviso DOC, Ruggeri

A pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and has a delicate perlage, its fruity aromas carry through to the palate, which is fresh and slightly sweet with a moderate alcoholic volume.

  9. 2010 Riesling, Carrick Winery
    whitewine

    2010 Riesling, Carrick Winery

    (12x75cl)

Aromatically there are orange blossoms, honeysuckle and jasmine. On the palate it's a real citrus fiesta with sweet lemon, limes and mandarins. There is also an element of minerality about the wine with subtle notes of stone fruit and almonds. The sugar acid balance is described as 'off dry' and the finish is clean making this a good aperitif and food wine.

  10. 2011 Beurrot Pinot Gris, Kooyong

Bright straw colour. Aromas of struck match accentuate an expressive nose of bomboniere almond, spun sugar, nougat, lychee and sweet fresh hay. The palate is rich yet dry and structured, with a viscous texture characteristic of the variety, moderate alcohol and fresh acidity. The residual sugar is relatively low for this style, at 3.7g/L and helps to emphasize the purity and line of this wine. Best enjoyed whilst youthful, this wine will build further richness over several years.
