    Intense ruby, red in colour. Fruity with deep hints of wild berries and jam. This wine is dry, structured with a soft, warm finish.

    Attractive bright golden yellow in the glass, with an intensely aromatic nose of white petals, ripe peaches and lightly spiced pears. Medium bodied with a delicious honeyed richness of concentrated grapey fruit flavours, delicately balanced with cleansing acidity and a youthfull, lively pettiance that lifts the palate and keeps the wine refreshing and dangerously easy to drink!

  3. 2008 Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

    Concentrated nose of red and black fruit - fully ripe but without over ripeness, and with classic Burgundian herbal/gamey undertones. In the mouth, rich and concentrated, juicy and immediately very delicious. Tannin is present although velvety and in check, and there is enough acidity to provide freshness and balance.

    Brilliant colour slight straw yellow colour. Spices and perfumed aromas on the nose. The palate offers cinnamon, lychee and flavours. Clean crisp acidity and long elegant finish.

    Youthfully light cherry in colour, offering red stone fruit on the nose. The fruit is very stylishly extracted, generous, ripe and not shackled by too much tannin. The acidity is an integral part of the palate, keeping those cherry fruits juicy!

    Pale straw in colour with refined aromas of citrus, peach and fig characters, a touch floral with some subtle oak complexity and hints of hazelnut and cream. The palate is focused, intense and finely structured displaying exceptional purity of flavour, fine acidity and length.
