  1. 2012 Humilitat DOQ Priorat, Epicure

Humilitat is born to reflect the essence of the Priorat with no oak artifice and a gentle extraction. We still perceive the garrigue and dark mulberry fruit typical of the area, yet the texture is delicate the tannins soft and the finish lingering.

  2. 2013 Mâcon-Villages, Cave de l'Aurore

Pale gold in colour with a subtle nose of tropical fruit and refined oak. The palate is well balanced with ripe fruit and fresh well balanced acidity. The finish is long and concentrated with hints of apples and a touch of creaminess.

  3. 2011 Château de Valois, Pomerol

Good deep dark ruby red. Spicy aromatic nose with ripe black fruit character. The palate is dominated by ripe berry fruit characteristics intermingled with spicy new oak. A good length with plenty of character.

  4. 2007 Barolo DOCG, Vigna La Rosa, Fontanafredda

The Vigna La Rosa Barolo is harmonious, well-rounded and elegant in taste; its very fine and delicate bouquet is reminiscent of faded roses and, with the ageing process, tends to acquire a pronounced earthy style but with a velvety sort of taste.

  5. 2012 Chablis 1er Cru, Montée de Tonnerre, Domaine Louis Michel

Classicaly austere nose of white stone fruit, chalk and minerals. The palate is crisp, dry and medium bodied, with steely acidity and a well defined, elegant palate. The citrus, green apple and pear fruit flavours last well into the deliciously refreshing, lengthy finish.

  6. 2010 Château Plaisance, Grand Cru, St Emilion

Deep ruby in the glass with concentrated black fruit and oak aromas. On the palate, the wine is powerful, with classy wood treatment and a wonderfully rich, sensuous structure and a long finish. Watchwords are accessibility, concentration and supple balance.

    2010 Ixsir Altitudes Red

    (12x75cl)

Warmth, sharpness, and ripeness are key here. Strawberries, oak and cassis on the nose. The open, accessible palate structure is enlivened by blackberry and cassis with a hint of green pepper, with ripe, soft tannins lending complexity; and a long, silky finish.

  8. NV Ultra Brut, Laurent Perrier
    champagne

    NV Ultra Brut, Laurent Perrier

    (6x75cl)

This delicate champagne is essentially champagne in its purest form because it is made without the addition of the sugar dosage found in most champagne. Ultra Brut can only be made in years when the grapes are at optimum ripeness with a good balance of acidity and natural sugar.

  9. 2010 The Hermit Crab Viognier/Marsanne, Originals, d'Arenberg

The nose of this wine displays an enticing mix of white stonefruits and sweet pineapple with an underlying hint of ginger.
The palate is luscious and flavoursome, again nectarine and peach are prominent, with a twist of candied citrus rind.
These sweet flavours evolve through the palate into more savoury flavours reminiscent of raw almonds and spice.
A generous, textural wine with a surprising finesse on the finish.

  10. 2013 Viognier VDP de la Principauté d'Orange, Janasse

The nose is fresh, fruity and aromatic, with ripe tropical and dried fruit characteristics. The palate is medium bodied with a succulent texture, balanced alcohol and acidity and a great concentration of dried fruit flavours, such as apricot and peach, with a honeyed, silky finish.
