  1. 2009 Merlot DOC Friuli, Brandolini

Soft and velvety with full bodied structure

  2. 2007 Gewurztraminer Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre, Trimbach

Redolent of roses, lychees and spices, this immensely rich Gewurztraminer is so unctuous and viscous when young that it can seem slightly sweet even though it is fermented almost dry. This massive body is balanced by an almost chalky fresh minerality and extract with a result that the wine boasts the elegance and finesse which are the Trimbach trademark.

  3. NV Brut Metodo Classico Planeta
    sparkling

    NV Brut Metodo Classico Planeta

    (6x75cl)

Pale yellow in colour with shades of sea green. Shows distinct aromas of "muscaredda", a variety of white prickly pear, white flowers and green grass. Vibrant and lean on the palate. Mt. Etna in full eruption.

  4. 2009 Côte Rôtie, Les Terres Sombres, Domaine Yves Cuilleron

Intensely purple/black in colour, almost opaque. The nose is a concentrated wall of spices, mineral tones and dark berry fruits. Deeply concentrated, tight and seriously well structured, the palate is immense in its breadth and length showing a wealth of blackberry, fruits of the forest and spiced, wooded flavours. The firm finish means you won't forget this one easily.

  5. 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, Viña Leyda

Soft and structured Cabernet Sauvignon with red fruit and gentle toast. Plums and cherries in the up front well integrated with hints of tobacco and mocha. It is an expressive Cabernet where the tipicity of the variety stands out from the oak. In mouth it has lively fruit, making this wine a fresh and juicy one, with soft and friendly tannins.

  6. 2013 Douro Red, Quinta Do Crasto

2013 Douro Red, Quinta Do Crasto

    (12x37.5cl)

Deep, opaque red in colour with aromas of intense berry fruit with subtle oak complexity. On the palate it is rich, full and concentrated, showing great depth of fruit with well-integrated American oak, good tannic structure and a firm, dry finish.

  7. 2013 Viognier, Bogle Winery
    whitewine

    2013 Viognier, Bogle Winery

    (12x75cl)

Appetizing display of luscious aromas with fresh apricot and pear fruit tang on the palate. A third of this wine spent 10 months in brand new American oak, barrel fermented and left on its lees. The rest of the blend was fermented in stainless steel tanks

  8. 2013 Arpeggio Nerello Mascalese, Settesoli

The Arpeggio Rosso is a medium bodied red with ripe fruit character, soft, well-rounded tannins and a concentrated finish.

  9. 2006 Belle Epoque, Perrier Jouët

Magnificent greenish gold in colour with a chrystalline brightness and a strong, intense effervescence with fine and regular bubbles. Highly aromatic and packed with notes of white flowers, honey, lemon, fresh plum and pineapple. The palate confirms the complexity and richness of the bouquet with an initial lively freshness leading into a rounded palate that displays notes of honey, vanilla and short bread right through the long, long finish. Truly inspiring.

  10. 2013 Torrontes, Sol SA, Bodegas Santa Ana

Bright, pale gold in colour with flashes of green at the rim. The nose is powerfully aromatic with an array of wildflower and tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fruity and crisp, well balanced with a clean finish this wine drinks great as a glass by itself but will also pair well with shellfish, pasta with a white wine based sauce or spicy Eastern influenced dishes.
