    2007 Coevo IGT, Cecchi

    (6x75cl)

The Sangiovese in this vintage was generous and of outstanding quality, first as grapes and then as juice, bestowing its Chianti-zone violet and earthy aromas, while at the same time displaying the highest elegance and persistence. This was complemented by the lush fruit of the Merlot, the smoke of the Petit Verdot, and the vibrancy of the Cabernet Sauvignon. There is beautiful choreography in the balance between the velvety tannins and alcohol in this new vintage.

  4. 2004 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva, Fattoria dei Barbi

Brick red in colour with earthy brown edges. The nose is pronounced and complex, offering an entertaining array of red and black berry fruits, spices and oaky aromas. The palate is medium to full bodied with a richly complex middle and an everlasting, elegant finish. The tannic structure that dominated the wine in its youth is beginning to mellow and allow mature, secondary characteristics to show. A stunning wine with enormous appeal.

  5. 2008 Sagrantino di Montefalco, Albaruta, Cecchi

Uno has an intense ruby red colour, with the typical purple shades and mauve hints of Sagrantino. It has a subtle aroma, with a sophisticated, complex bouquet, offering a well balanced blend of blackberries, plums, vanilla, leather and coffee. The wine is full bodied with great structure and tannins that make it an ideal partner with food.

  6. 2012 Gavi di Gavi, La Minaia, Nicola Bergaglio

Pale gold in colour with flashes of diamond brilliance, it has a light, fresh, mineral and citrus bouquet. The palate is crisp and dry, with a hint of ripe pears and a complex array of red and green apples, the finish is mouthwateringly refreshing and lengthy.

  7. 2011 Chianti, Cecchi

    2011 Chianti, Cecchi

    (12x37.5cl)

Chianti Cecchi is characterised by a red ruby colour, which tends towards granite red when aged. On the nose it is intensely aromatic with notes of violets. On the palate it is well balanced with the classic signature of Chianti which make it such a good match with food.

  8. 2009 Meursault, 1er Cru Les Charmes, Maison Henri Boillot

Minerals, citrus and understated ripe tropical fruits are found on the nose. Shows a clean and lifted palate with pineapple, peach and pear fruit and spicey vanilla alongside limey acidity on the elegant and very lengthy finish.

  9. 2010 Anaperenna Shiraz Cabernet, Glaetzer

Enticing liquorice and fragrant herb notes on the nose, revealing hints of dark stone fruits and cassis with layers of roasted coffee beans. The key characteristic on the palate is the textural tannins that provide support for the supple yet restrained palate - finishing with freshness, purity and length.

  10. 2003 Cuvée Dom Pérignon, Moët et Chandon

It is pale yellow in colour with shades of straw and on the nose has initial aromas of acacia honey and fresh almonds giving away to notes of dried apricots and toasted brioche. On the palate the wine is full, round and complete with balancing acidity, and a long, silky elegant finish.
