A delightful and dainty rosé, ideal during the warmer months. Intense lychee and strawberry notes are greeted with hints of violet and good acidity enabling the wine to be sipped as an aperitif or paired with food.

  2. 2011 Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Evocelles, Domaine Lucien Boillot

The bouquet exudes oak and charm. Rich and mouthfilling with great persistence. The fullness hides the steely core at first. Approachable young but worth keeping.

    2012 Ixsir Altitudes White

    (12x75cl)

Elegant starbright gold in the glass with an exquisite bouquet of floral aromas, hints of Muscat and notes of grapefruit on the nose. On the palate, this floral and fruity blend has soft, balanced acidity and spicy undertones

  4. 2011 Finca Montico Rueda, Riscal

A bright straw colour with hints of green. The typical aromas of verdejo can be detected on the nose with medium intensity. Fennel, fine herbs, white flowers, pear and nectarine are all evident. The palate is fat and fresh with a round, unctuous character and long finish. Lees ageing and good acidity allow the wine to conserve the varietal aromas leaving a fresh, aromatic and complex wine.

  5. 2009 Meursault, Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux

Well developed with ripe, tropical fruit on the nose and an enticing note of honey leading to an intense and concentrated palate with well balanced acidity and a crisp, clean, lengthy finish.

  6. 2014 Petit Chenin, Ken Forrester Wines

A youthful fresh wine with quince and pear drop flavours. Real freshness on the palate with crunchy green apple and grapefruit flavours. Good mouthfeel and appetisingly tangy finish.

  7. NV The Nostalgia Rare, d'Arenberg

In the glass it’s a burnished bronze with an alluring rim of olive – illustrating the great age of some of the parcels that have gone into this wine.
The nose is at first a cascade of walnuts toasted almonds and rancio (drying, mature complex oak character).
It then opens up to dried fruits, pears and apples with a sprinkling of cinnamon spice, further inspection gives up toffee, dried figs and burnt butter.
The palate is very lively, tingling with spice and lift – a fantastic balance of freshness and age, the sweetness kept in check by the rancio.
It’s complex, layered and focused with a silky mouthfeel and great lingering length.

  8. 2012 Pato Frio Antao Vaz Grande Escolha, Ribafreixo

Fresh tropical fruit with slight citrus and mineral notes. Fresh, daring and well-structured.

  9. 2013 Pedraia Nuragus, Santadi

    2013 Pedraia Nuragus, Santadi

    (12x75cl)

Brilliant straw yellow tending to golden in the glass. On the nose it has an intense scent of yellow fruit together with buttery notes. Round and delicate, it is beautifully textured in the mouth.

  10. 2013 Lanya Cabernet Sauvignon, Viña Maola

A fantastic value for money Cab to complement the existing Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. The wine displays classic blackcurrant leaf aromas with ripe blackberry flavours, a hint of liquorice and blueberry fruit.
