  1. 2008 Côte Rôtie, Les Terres Sombres, Domaine Cuilleron

Intensely purple/black in colour, almost opaque. The nose is a concentrated wall of spices, mineral tones and dark berry fruits. Deeply concentrated, tight and seriously well structured, the palate is immense in its breadth and length showing a wealth of blackberry, fruits of the forest and spiced, wooded flavours. The firm finish means you won't forget this one easily.

  2. 2009 Shawsgate Rose

    2009 Shawsgate Rose

    (6x75cl)

A young vibrant rose wine with an attractive rich strawberry hue, bags of berry fruit aromas and a delicious palate. A crisp acidity is well matched by the natural sweetness, with redcurrant and raspberry flavours to finish.

  3. 2012 Sauvignon Blanc, Lanya
    whitewine

    2012 Sauvignon Blanc, Lanya

    (6x75cl)

Pale straw yellow in colour. Aromas of lime and grapefruit core, surrounded by passion fruit notes. Crisp and juicy in the palate, with lime, pear and herbal flavours in delicate balance, with a soft finish.

  4. 2012 Reserve Chardonnay, Tooma River, Warburn Estate

Chardonnay thrives in the warm and sun kissed Australian vineyard – delivering an unmistakeably vibrant and fruit driven style. This wine is no exception and is packed with grapefruit, lime and melon flavours, all bound up with a zesty, crisp citrus balance which cuts through to the finish. A deliciously refreshing glass by itself, this is also a great partner for full flavoured fish, crustaceans or spicy Asian influenced dishes.

  5. 2012 Pinard Cuvée Classique Blanc, Domaine Vigné-Lourac

A light, crisp blend from Alain Gayrel made with fresh, vibrant grape varieties. This is an excellent aperitif wine, that will also match gracefully light dishes such as chicken salads. Excellent value for money, and a wine that very much over-delivers on its name (Pinard is the French name for 'plonk'!).

  6. NV Trebbiano Poggio della Quercia IGT Rubicone, Contri

Dry, white wine with fruity and upfront bouquet, with a nice citrus fresh finish.

  7. 2011 Brauneberger Juffer Riesling Kabinett, Paulinshof

This is classic Mosel Riesling with a fresh lemony fragrance on the nose. In the palate there is an amazingly complex balance of many different factors - fresh acidity and off-dry sweetness - slate driven mineral texture and low alcohol - fresh fruit and a deep oily complexity. Poise and depth.

  8. 2011 Painter Bridge Chardonnay, J. Lohr

Pale yellow in color with attractive aromas of Bosc pear, apple and white flowers, with a touch of vanilla and honey. The aromas are echoed on the silky textured palate, which is cleansed with fresh acidity and richness.

  9. 2010 Chardonnay Formigar Cornell DOC, Alto Adige, Colterenzio

Pale yellow with greenish reflexes; nutty on the nose with a hint of exotic fruits such as mango and honeydew melon overlaying a discreet aroma of oak; full and broad on the palate, the richness cut by firm acidity.

  10. 2012 Riesling QbA Dry, Reichsrat Von Buhl

Bright and lively with distinctive aromas of fresh peach and apricot, with some harder notes of minerality. Full and intense on the palate with the same fruits. Good length with a vibrant, precise finish of fresh grapefruit.
