    whitewine

    2009 Chardonnay, Yering Station

    (6x75cl)

Pale Straw in colour with a pure and complex nose of flinty, minerally characters as well as citrus with some almond and spicy complexity. The palate is clean and fresh with well-integrated oak characters. Like the nose, the palate is quite minerally and shows great poise.

  2. 2009 Belguardo Rosé IGT Toscana, Mazzei

Beautiful light cherry red in the glass and rose petals on the nose. In the mouth there is a poised balance of acidity, alcohol and body, and the short period in wood adds to mouthfeel, structure and complexity, without overwhelming the succulent red fruit characteristics.

  3. NV Bas Armagnac X.O. (min 20 years old), Castarede

Coppery topaz in the glass with a characterful, intense, vibrant nose showing candied chestnut and dried currants mingled with luscious oaky notes of cigar box and sandalwood. Very mellow, complex palate.

  4. 2012 Frascati Superiore, San Marco

Light straw yellow, with a delicate lemony nose. In the mouth it is clean and well-balanced with hints of lemons, peaches and honey.

  5. 2011 Organic Cabernet Sauvignon, Soleus

Deep brooding purple in colour with a vibrant nose of blackcurrant fruit, hints of liquorice and a touch of oak. The palate is full bodied but soft and juicy, packed with brambly briar fruit flavours, hints of spice and the oak makes a luxurious return on the finish.

  6. 2011 Chablis, Domaine de Vauroux

Aromatic with clean mineral notes and hints of citrus. The palate is medium bodied with crisp, appley acidity, tight, pure fruit flavours of white peach and pears finished with a classic, steely, dry finish.

  7. 2011 Black Label Pinot Noir, Yealands

A bright, ruby hued wine with aromas of black cherry, violets and savoury spice on the nose. A fleshy palate with notes of plum and spice, silky tannins and a firm finish.

  8. 2010 Chassagne Montrachet Blanc, Domaine Jean Pillot

The nose is dominated with white fruits like pears and apples and has a floral overtone. The palate is intense with its apple and mineral acidity, peaches and toasty layers that last into the finish and lend a creamy softness at the end.

  9. NV Brut Grande Réserve Premier Cru, Gobillard

An elegant nose redolent of citrus blossom, followed by a delicate and precise palate showing greengages and honey. A long finish dominated by toasty brioche notes.

  10. NV Cuvée Rosé Brut, Laurent Perrier

Pale cherry-red in colour with a rich blackcurrant and raspberry nose. The palate is elegant and lengthy, with soft, consistent bubbles, ripe red fruits such as raspberries and strawberries, and a clean, soft finish with a creamy texture.
