  1. 2012 Vin de Pays Terre de Bussière , Domaine de la Janasse

A beautiful example of Southern French grape varieties; rich in colour with ripe, red fruit, well-married tannins and herbaceous, spicy flavours full of southern warmth.

  2. This exquisite Grenache-dominant Châteauneuf-du-Pape is sourced from the Plateau du Piedlong, one of the highest points of this world famous appellation. The 70 year old vines produce a spicy red which has aromas of raspberry, cherry, white pepper and dried violet. The full bodied palate asserts itself with flavours of dark cherry and bitter chocolate that align themselves with hints of blueberry, lavender and porcini. The fine balance of tannin, acidity and concentrated fruits mean this wine will keep on evolving in the glass and in the bottle.

  3. 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin, Les Evocelles, Domaine Lucien Boillot

The bouquet exudes oak and charm. Rich and mouthfilling with great persistence. The fullness hides the steely core at first. Approachable young but worth keeping.

  4. 2014 Château Laulerie Merlot, Bergerac, Vignoble Dubard

Soft and supple Merlot blend from up-and-coming young winemaker Grégory Dubard in Bergerac. Lively red fruit with a hint of pepper characterise the nose of this red wine. A supple and velvety palate, accompanied by berry fruit aromas make this medium-weight wine easy-to-drink and ideal for the summer.

  5. 2013 Volnay Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Henri Delagrange

Ruby coloured. Enticing wild raspberry and bramble aromas. Medium bodied, with supple tannins and generous, soft fruity character.

  6. 2008 Prelude à Grand Puy Ducasse

The wine exhibits a dense, almost opaque colour with deep cherry and tobacco elegance on the nose.
The palate is up-front with sweet ripe fruit and touches of spice. It has a gorgeous chewy and
well-endowed plush texture. Pure, complex and interesting.

  7. 2011 Côte Rôtie, La Madinière, Domaine Yves Cuilleron

Intensely purple/black in colour, almost opaque. The nose is a concentrated wall of spices, mineral tones and dark berry fruits. Deeply concentrated, tight and seriously well structured, the palate is immense in its breadth and length showing a wealth of blackberry, fruits of the forest and spiced, wooded flavours. The firm finish means you won't forget this one easily.

  8. 2011 La Chapelle d'Escurac, Château d'Escurac

Ripe Bordeaux aromas of blackberry and touch of oak lift out of the glass. Mid weight tannins and grip give roundness and balance to the wine.

  9. 2013 Pinard Cuvée Classique Rouge, Domaine Vigné-Lourac

Showing a lively bouquet of plum, blueberry and hints of blackcurrant on the nose. The palate is rounded, soft and juicy.

  10. 2011 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Vallerots, Dom. Chantal Lescure

Traditional in it's generous texture, firm tannins and fleshy raspberry fruit.
