  1. 2008 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Dugat

Classic Burgundian Pinot Noir nose of raspberries overlaid with a touch of spiciness. On the palate the wine is medium weight displaying the fresh acidity characteristic of many 2008 Côte de Nuits reds. Tannin structure is firm, but ripe, and there is plenty of pure Pinot fruit flavour to give the wine remarkable on the palate.

  2. 2010 Morey St. Denis, Domaine Lecheneaut

One of the best last vintages of Burgundy. Ripe fruit and complex nose of small red fruit, lovely soft texture and a mouthfilling finish.

  3. 2011 Aloxe-Corton Les Caillettes, Domaine Henri Delagrange

For Pinot Noir, a quite dark, deep ruby. When young, the aromas evoke the garden in spring, red fruits (raspberry, strawberry, cherry) and black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry). These flavours become more intense with age: peony and jasmine, jam and fruit in eau de-vie, pistachio, prunes, leather, truffles, mushrooms, cinnamon. It is a generous, opulent wine with distinguished tannins.

  4. 2011 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Vallerots, Dom. Chantal Lescure

Traditional in it's generous texture, firm tannins and fleshy raspberry fruit.

  5. 2008 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux St Jacques, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

Precision and purity of fruit mingles with more savoury, herbal, Burgundian aromas on the nose. Soft initially in the mouth, progressing to much more concentration and grip as the palate develops. Slightly youthful tannin on the finish but marvellous finesse of fruit. Benefits from decanting to enjoy now and over the next five years.

  6. 2012 Rully Rouge 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre, Jaeger-Defaix

Fine, elegant and structured, the Clos du Chapitre shows the very burgundian style of Pinot noir. The structure of this wine gives him a very good potential for ageing.

  7. 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin, Domaine Lucien Boillot

Medium/full-bodied, exceptionally complex with aromas of bacon, black cherries, liquorice, pencil lead, raspberry jam, a smokiness and dry toast. On the palate one can find a balanced acidity, integrated oak, modest tannins and cocoa powder, coffee, mushroom, peat moss, plum flavours jam, smoky.

  8. 2011 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Champs-Perdrix, Alain Michelot

Beautiful dark red colour; rich concentration of fresh raspberries and black cherries, coupled with violet and earthy mineral notes.

  9. 2012 Beaujolais Villages Château des Alouettes, Jean Tête

Typically gentle purple colour of the Gamay grape. Soft and juicy ripe damson type fruits with a crisp acidity. A style for early consumption that mixes elegance and softness with bold ripe flavours.

  10. 2011 Volnay 1er Cru le Clos de Chênes, Domaine Henri Delagrange

Ruby coloured with a incredible depth of aroma and flavour. Violets and red fruits are extremely expressive, but also powerful, long-lived and elegant.
