    Brouilly 13 Tete 6/75

    (6x75cl)

A light, juicy Beaujolais, loaded with ripe fruit character and aromas of crushed strawberries and forest fruits. Deep ruby red in colour, Brouilly releases aromas of red fruits with a slight vegetal trace. It combines roundness with harmony. Well balanced and full-bodied, it possesses remarkable length in the mouth.

  5. Beauj Vill 12 Tete 6/75

    Beauj Vill 12 Tete 6/75

    (6x75cl)

Light purple in colour, with a elegant, fresh intense nose of soft red fruits. The palate is equally open and fleshy with lots of fruit and little tannin. Wonderfully soft and accessible, plenty of character backed by good balancing acidity.

  6. Volnay 1er Cru 11 Rossignol-Chang 6/75

Savoury but with intense fruit that opens up with aeration. Slight element of mineral/gritty character displayed by the village level Volnay. Greater intensity of fruit, which persists excellently on the palate, and balanced, fine-grained tannin. Smokey/savoury character on finish. Superb.

  7. Mazis Chambertin 08 Harmand-G 6/75

Concentrated nose of red and black fruit - fully ripe but without over ripeness, and with classic Burgundian herbal/gamey undertones. In the mouth, rich and concentrated, juicy and immediately very delicious. Tannin is present although velvety and in check, and there is enough acidity to provide freshness and balance.

  8. The colour is a bright ruby, turning to deep carmine or dark cerise with age. Strawberry, mulberry, violet, mignonette, and rose all help to make up their bouquet of spontaneous aromas. More maturity brings out liquorice, leather and fur, with gamey notes and hints of underbrush. On the palate, they impress by their firm structure, velvety tannins and delicate texture. These wines are everything a great burgundy should be : full-bodied, powerful, rich, and meaty. They have both body and spirit. Pleasant when drunk young « on the fruit », they are nevertheless first and foremost wines for aging.

  9. Chorey-les-Beaune 13 Maillard 6/75

Aromas of morello cherry and raspberry with complex earthy elements, mouthfilling on the palate with a good concentration of red berry fruits, a lick of smooth woody vanilla and a lovely supple, textured middle supported by very fine tannins. Elegant and complex despite its concentration with a well balanced and defined finish.

  10. Gev Chamb Lavaux 12 Harmand-G 6/75

Precision and purity of fruit mingles with more savoury, herbal, Burgundian aromas on the nose. Soft initially in the mouth, progressing to much more concentration and grip as the palate develops. Slightly youthful tannin on the finish but marvellous finesse of fruit. Benefits from decanting to enjoy now and over the next five years.
