  1. 2009 Beaune-Grèves 1er Cru, Domaine Maillard Père et Fils

Heaven scented nose of ripe, fresh crushed raspberries and morello cherry intertwining beautifully with earthy, mushroomy aromas. The palate is medium bodied, complex and exceptionally lengthy, displaying a divine balance between ripe fruit, touches of new oak and its well-defined structure. The finish is firm and lengthy, a seriously sexy wine with enormous appeal.

  2. 2011 Beaujolais Villages, Louis Tête

Light purple in colour, with a elegant, fresh intense nose of soft red fruits. The palate is equally open and fleshy with lots of fruit and little tannin. Wonderfully soft and accessible, plenty of character backed by good balancing acidity.

  3. 2001 Pommard Les Perrières, Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux

Vibrantly bright, with a touch of mahogany toward the rim. The nose is generous in its complexity with fine and elegant red berry fruits and hints of earthy spices. The palate is medium bodied, soft, juicy and lengthy showing piercing strawberry and cherry fruits layered over a carpet of mushrooms, strawberry leaf and forest floor complexity. The finish is firm, clean and lengthy.

  4. 2009 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru, Domaine Laurent Roumier

Ripe cherry, chocolate, liquorice, mint and spicy oak on the nose. The palate is mouthfilling, rich and sweet. Great long, powerful finish.

  5. 2011 Beaujolais Cuvée Traditionnelle V V, Domaine du Vissoux

Youthfully light cherry in colour, offering red stone fruit on the nose. The fruit is very stylishly extracted, generous, ripe and not shackled by too much tannin. The acidity is an integral part of the palate, keeping those cherry fruits juicy!

  6. 2010 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Domaine Fernand Lecheneaut

Luxurious and incredibly complex on the nose, demanding many minutes of contemplation before tasting... and what a palate when you do! Beautifuly balanced with style, finesse and length, the mid palate is a riot of red fruit flavours, spicy oak and well integrated, fine grained tannin lasting well into its deliciously rounded, multilayered finish. Superb.

  7. 2009 Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Les Pruliers, Dom. Fernand Lecheneaut

Wonderfully ripe and packed with generous aromas of redcurrants, spicy blackberries and touches of flinty mineral notes. The palate is intense and concentrated but showing a beguiling balance between structure, fruit and new oak. Firm, lengthy finish, superb for food pairing.

  8. 2011 Fleurie, Louis Tête

    2011 Fleurie, Louis Tête

    (12x37.5cl)

Wonderfully perfumed with juicy, ripe sweetness, cherry and chocolate flavours and a raspberry finish, with a touch of spiciness.

  9. 2008 Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes, Domaine Fernand Lecheneaut

Pure Pinot Noir with a wonderfully perfumed nose. The palate offers great structure and concentration with ripe, subtle fruit and fine tannins. This is a wine that can be savoured now but that will also last for many years to come.

  10. 2008 Mazis Chambertin Grand Cru, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

Concentrated nose of red and black fruit - fully ripe but without over ripeness, and with classic Burgundian herbal/gamey undertones. In the mouth, rich and concentrated, juicy and immediately very delicious. Tannin is present although velvety and in check, and there is enough acidity to provide freshness and balance.
