Black fruit, spices and violets with great concentration on the palate balanced by soft silky tannins, ripe plum and chocolate notes.

  2. 2013 Lanya Cabernet Sauvignon, Viña Maola

A fantastic value for money Cab to complement the existing Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. The wine displays classic blackcurrant leaf aromas with ripe blackberry flavours, a hint of liquorice and blueberry fruit.

  3. 2004 Château Gruaud Larose, Cru Classé, St. Julien

A forward, deep purple wine with a sweet blueberry, kirsch and jam scented nose, medium bodied with more rounded up-front fruit than most of the other serious wines of St. Julien.

  4. 2011 Chianti Classico DOCG, Fonterutoli

Dark, richly coloured ruby/garnet. Perfumed nose of black cherry and spice with hints of woodsmoke and tobacco. Full, ripe tannins, integrated acidity and a long finish.

    2011 Gran Mascota Malbec

    (6x75cl)

This Malbec wine displays aromas of ripened red fruits, such as plums and cherries with mint notes

  6. 2011 Terre de Granit, Saint Joseph, Domaine Guy Farge

Dark ruby with minerally aromatics: stone, chalk and gun flint in a subtle interplay with pepper, tapenade and dense brambly fruit. Lovely mouthwatering acidity, smooth layers of fine tannins, medium body and long finish.

  7. 2010 Sassella, Le Tense, Nino Negri

Ruby red colour with garnet hues; intense, elegant bouquet with hints of raspberry preserve, resin and tar and suggestions of dried flowers (roses and violets) and of cloves; dry, firm, balanced flavour with a distinctive, lingering aftertaste of prunes and toasted almonds.

  8. 2013 Petit Pinotage, Ken Forrester Wines

Classic Pinotage aromas of spicy mulberries, plum pudding and cherries, with more subtle hints of smoky bacon. Juicy and accessible with a soft palate and delicious fruit concentration.

  9. 2009 Gevrey Chambertin En Jouise, Domaine Harmand Geoffroy

The nose at present is fairly typical earthy Burgundian Pinot. It's on the palate, however that the wine's class really shows. Superb richness, freshness and juiciness of fruit. Soft-textured, with great persistence of flavour. Yum! Benefits from decanting.

  10. 2008 Amarone Classico Corte Bra, Sartori

Ruby in colour; ripe fruit aromas, with notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and dried herbs; full bodied on the palate with rich fruit flavours, bright acidity, and a lingering finish.
